It’s a standard Starbucks – boring but clean and friendly. What this branch has over other Starbucks is a driving adventure! This ‘bucks is not a big one; it’s more geared to the Bethel road motorist making their way to 315 in the wet, cold morning to work. The seating contains all of seven tables, two love seats, and two wide armed chairs mostly tucked into a cubby. The pick-up window is a mere ten feet from the inside service spot. Now driving, the game works this way: you can not access it coming west on Bethal as a concrete medium bars the way. The savvy gamer knows to kick up Jasonway and pull behind the CVS there, accessing Starbuck’s small parking lot from the back. But this has pitfalls too, as Starbuck drive is one-way going the opposite direction. This leaves the option to either park at the medical office behind CVS, tempting the boogyman named Shamrock, or use the two Starbucks spaces near the trash shed, if they are open. Now a wayward gamer may venture into the parking way counter the directional arrows. But this takes serious driving aptitude as now our gamer must swing his vehicle in close quarters, 135-degrees into a spot between tightly parked cars. One tiny bump and scratch and bloop-bloop-bloop you lose, no other lives left. Now a wise gamer may think to come east and take the easy right. Nice, but at peak times the drive-thru queue can spill out onto Bethel making you an easy rear-end target for traffic barreling down the hill through the CSX underpass. And even escaping that the parking lot brings obstacles; a cadre of cellphone drivers jerking their SUVs out suddenly, cutting you off an inch from your bumper. If you escape those challenge congrats, you get to pay for Starbucks. I do like the staff here, they are very friendly. A credit to management, this stays steady through the usual level of turnover fast food is known for. In the end, it’s a decent place to enjoy a cup, read a book, call your car insurance agent. Though the place is really cold for some reason.

If your not sure what Starbucks is or has to offer, please by all means log in to the world wide web and plugin ‘Starbucks Wikipedia’ and this will be your welcome to the 2000’s party. Three stars for being clean, friendly, and doing a good job serving up a nice atmosphere. [Begin Rant]They take the corporate Starbucks items and do the best they can with them. Which is why you just wont get five stars from on a place like this. Call me Hipster, call me Cam, heck you can call me Susan if you like, but you cant call me crazy for wanting to have more local individual small business shops. [End Rant, back to the point] A couple of notes — the parking situation is a bit tight, if your familiar with the area right there at Bethel and Kenny-ish, the main entrance — you cant turn left into and you cant turn left out of it. Around the back however is a way to Jasonway Ave which allows you to be at a stoplight and turn left or right onto Bethel again.

A great, friendly Starbucks. The seating is pretty decent for a smaller-sized Starbucks, and most of the chairs and tables are located near outlets which is usefull when holding a meeting or doing some studying. The environment itself is a little on the louder side(making all those drinks), but I’ve never really found a quiet Starbucks. The barista service is also very fast and friendly here which I aprpeciate.

I met my friend here for coffee last night. While it has its perks, I don’t see this location becoming my new favorite. Parking can be awkward because, as other reviewers have stated, you can only come in one way. The inside is pretty small; once you order, it’s unclear where you are supposed to get your drink and then, if you don’t move to the left or the right quickly, you’re in the way. The staff was nice enough, though I heard them talking about how they«hated» how some people in the drive-thru would speak too quickly. I felt like my drink took quite some time to make. Still, I give them props for being a quiet and cozy Starbucks. I don’t know if I’d prefer this location or the Henderson Rd location; Henderson is louder than this location, but I think you’re much more likely to find a seat there. I won’t be in any hurry to return, but I think it’s an okay Starbucks experience.

The staff at this Starbucks are so friendly! They’re often willing to chat you up and they always have a smile when they greet you. Food/beverage are consistently prepared – I wasn’t aware of this, but if you get a drink you don’t like, they’ll make you something else! I wish more restaurants would be open to doing this. The seating area is definitely smaller than the Starbucks on Henderson – there are seats for probably 20 people, with a mix of 4-tops, 2-tops, and a few lounge chairs. There’s a bit of outdoor seating on the front side of the building, but I don’t see it being used much because, well, it looks onto busy Bethel Rd. The store is conveniently located less than half a mile from the intersection of Bethel Rd. and 315. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a challenge, however. Heading eastbound toward 315 is fine, since the store is on the south side of Bethel. Coming westbound from 315, one needs to turn left on Jasonway and drive behind the CVS. Depending on the time of day(roughly 7 – 9AM), be prepared for a jam at the drive-thru, which can snake around to the side of the building and making exiting with your car an exercise in patience and crossing one’s fingers that someone doesn’t decide to disobey the one-way flow of traffic. The staff do all they can to get your order processed quickly and get you on your way. Their friendliness and the convenient location trump the sometimes problematic traffic flow.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the parking lot is kinda terrible and sometimes all the tables are already taken when I want to work there. Otherwise pretty great-today I didn’t have my phone with me but had a vague memory of a sandwich coupon and they honored it! Love that level of customer service!

i have been coming to this starbucks for years and i am not sure that i have ever experienced a problem here… other than vehicular congestion. the baristas are all friendly and the drive thru seems to move at a decent pace. prices are terrible, as with any starbucks, but that’s what you get!

It’s ok. The place is small with little seating and plugs for electronic devices. Normally that’s what you would expect in a coffee shop, but Starbucks is known for its«experience» which always includes copious amounts of plugs and seating.

What’ you’d expect from Starbucks, as always. Good drinks, fast service, and in this case, a drive-thru!

Maybe I am lucky? Since moving to this area from the northern part of Sawmill, I frequent this Starbucks often. Only on one occasion when the drive thru was log-jammed, I had to walk in(and still didn’t wait very long). Always friendly and fast this… location is fine by me. The drive thru is a bit tricky with traffic sometimes… but otherwise, I can’t complain.

Starbucks is, well, Starbucks. It’s expensive coffee but it tastes good and gets the job done. This particular Starbucks is awesome. I’ve never even been inside and I can tell you that. Every time I’ve gone through the drive through, whether it’s a busy Friday morning or boring Monday afternoon, every person that works there is SONICE. They always strike up a conversation and doesn’t matter who is working but they always love when I have my corgis in the car :) It just amazes me that every time I go there, the person working the drive through is always so nice.

It is a hard to get to location with out much to offer then standard starbucks fair. The drive through is pretty nice, and they are quick to serve even when busy, I can’ really complain I’m a fan of the new Blond Roast, I guess that makes me an equal coffee enthusiast. Is it wrong to be a fan of Starbucks? I just am impressed with the consistent flavors, and niceness that I always get here, which is more then I can say for other locally owned places.

Pretty lousy customer service and pretty bad coffee, plus a drive-thru lineup that congests Bethel on occasion. Starbucks — for people who pretend to like good coffee. Drive-Thru Starbucks — for lazy people who pretend to like good coffee.

Always go thru the drive thru when I am in town. The folks are very nice and my order is always correct. What more can you ask for in getting a cup of joe :-)

Excellent service. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The salted caramel latte’s and pumpkin spice are my favorites for the fall season. I am also a big fan of the salted caramel sqares that are only 200 calories, although they are bite size. They are also good about any special requests that you may have.
