I made the mistake of buying two Groupons for service here. The first was for a wax. When I walked in, the salon was full of employees and not one person, including what I perceived to be the receptionist, greeted me. The employees were TOTALLY preoccupied with talking to one another and some of the other guests. After I finally got checked in, I was told that the woman who was to perform the wax was running late. I sat and waited for OVERANHOUR and just as I was about to give up and leave, she finally came out to help me. I was escorted to a tiny back room that barely had enough room to accommodate the door closing, let alone room for a waxing table and the aesthetician. So uncomfortable. I wasn’t looking forward to coming back for the facial, and if I hadn’t prepaid with a Groupon, I never would have returned. When I finally did come back, I walked up to the door of the salon a few minutes before my appointment, and it was locked with nobody inside. I knocked and even called the phone number to no avail. Again, just as I was about to give up and leave, I saw a woman running out from the back to come let me in. It’s a shame that they occupy such a prime section of real estate on High Street, because it was the most atrocious customer service that I have ever received in a spa setting. I will say that the women that actually performed the services were actually very nice, but the rest of the experience and the general unprofessionalism of the rest of the staff left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s supposed to be a place where you go to get pampered. I couldn’t wait to get out.

My daughter«Kendall» got her hair done with Jay… she loved it and I loved. He is very skilled, friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

I wished the service matched the décor! The décor-fabulous! The customer service and quality of work-horrible. I pretty much paid $ 200 to get my hair damaged. I got a full sew-in by Chris but never again! Please treat your new customers better!

My favorite salon. Since I have moved to LA I absolutely miss going to Strand Café. Makeup Bar parties were the best. I can not find a stylist out here that is on the same level. The shop gives you a very unique feel. The location is amazing being close to the freeways whether is is 670, 71 or 315. It is also close to OSU campus Perfect location. Staff is diverse. Why would you go anywhere else.

The«stylists» were rude, not welcoming, loud, obnoxious, and had no consideration for any of their customers’ time! I kept getting annoyed when my stylist kept checking and talking on her phone! Unfortunately for me, I had bought this Groupon so I didn’t know better. I had called twice to make an appointment before I finally got one and it wasn’t because there was no available appointments, it was because these women are too lazy to work. Each time I was on the phone, I was waiting for 10 mins while these women kept screaming and laughing to each other on the phone instead of finding me a time to come in! My appointment was at 4pm, it began at 410. This«stylist» could not understand what a V cut with medium length layers meant! Ummm okay where did you go to school? After shampooing my hair and scratching the skin off of my scalp, and not getting all of the conditioner out of my hair, she half-assed the cut job. Being too lazy to blowdry, she sat me under the dryer machine for 20 minutes while she began working on other women. Checking on me again finally, she realized my hair still wasn’t dry! Uhhh yaaaa, I have NORMAL hair that’s long! After the 2nd dryer session as she began working on ANOTHER woman, I just left! It was 520 pm at this time! If I would have stayed it would have been around 6 maybe that I would have finally been done! Ummm 2 hours for a haircut!!! Half of the women were just sitting around, and I felt really bad for 2 other women who came in and were waiting for a long time! I believe one just walked out. It wasn’t just a bad day in the salon! That’s how they always are! I don’t think they know how to handle any hair that’s not like their own. Biggest fail of customer service and a business I have ever seen! Please save yourself the trouble of coming here! There are plentyyyy of competent salons in this city! Your hair and body are not things to experiment with! Needless to say I’ll never be going back!

Bought a groupon for a Brazilian here. yikes. spent the rest of my night at home recovering. worst waxing I’ve ever had. The place seemed nice… maybe they do nice haircuts, but I shant trust them with my nether regions again.
