This location tends to be pretty inconsistent. The credit card/subway card machine is frequently not working. Usually they make extremely small subs. A few weeks ago I ate there and they made the most delicious tuna sub I’d ever had, it was jam packed. Today I ate there and once again, it was pretty small with not much of any of the ingredients. They were also all out of several condiments. As Subways go this is not one of the nicer ones but I go because its closest. The one on Gay Street tends to be way better.

Nice enough, nothing extraordinary about the service. Free wifi but only one accessible outlet(very important to me).

So I came in to the restaurant after my class at Franklin at 9:53 and was informed they just closed. The sign was still on and the doors were unlocked. I mentioned that and employee stated that they hadn’t turned it off yet. So I left and checked their store hours on the company website. Yup they closed at 10. When I looked up, she had shut off the light and the lights in the dining room. It was 9:55. I have to say, I would love to work at a restaurant where I close whenever I felt like it.

This subway is pretty good. I’ve been going there for years, and I’d highly recommend them. They’re across the street from the main library. I recommend going there after class or after your research. Sometimes it’s quite busy during lunch hour. However they are always try to speed it along.

It’s Subway, so I guess in writing a review of a chain restaurant you are just rating the service? Anyway, this is the closest of the three Subways I can walk to within 10 minutes, so I’m here pretty often. Oh the joys of living downtown. I could tell you about how I love meatball subs or cookies, but we all know what’s on Subway’s menu. So the people who work here are friendly and quick enough, and the clientele is always«interesting». If you live in the Discovery District it’s a can’t-resist lunch spot.
