Here are the facts on this Swan Cleaners location… 1.) They do an A– to A job of cleaning your clothes(most of the time… see below) 2.) They are expensive compared to other cleaners 3.) Their process is slow unless you want to pay more That said, they had my business until they screwed up. I recently brought in a shirt to be cleaned and it came back with a pea sized brown stain on the collar. This stain was not the fault of my own but rather Swan and they admitted as much. The store representative apologized and said that she would have them do it again. Fine. I came back later in the week only to be handed the shirt with a lighter version of the stain. I don’t know why they would try giving me it back even. She apologized again, said that they would take one more look at it. She credited me for one of my other shirts I was having cleaned. Okay, I’m patient but this is getting ridiculous. Went to pick my shirt up a THIRD time and there was still a stain it. She offered to clean it again. I had to rush out and didn’t have time to deal with it. I came back for a FOURTH time to pick up my shirt. The stain was mostly out but was not perfect. Basically, I think they were just delaying doing what was right and admitting that they ruined my shirt. Maybe they hoped I would forget about it or would never come back. I did not forget about it. However, I am NEVER coming back. They clearly have no process to remedy a situation that costs them money when they screw up. That’s no way to run a business. There are other cheaper dry cleaners I can have my shirts ruined at.

I love that Swan’s is so close to my apartment, allowing me to walk there. The people that work there are friendly and they generally do a nice job cleaning my clothes. I do think they are a bit expensive and dropping off your clothes can be a slow process. They say they have a loyalty program(they confirmed when I asked based on an ad I saw), but I have no idea what the benefits are. Seems surprising, since I’ve been taking them my clothes once a week for a year now.
