I use all the libraries fairly regularly. I just recently started using Mildred Terry Library late last year. I don’t know what happened between October and now, but it is not good. As a book club owner, I promote literacy heavily. I used the conference room for events. However, after the treatment that I received the last few times, I personally won’t be back to that library and I won’t recommend it either. I’ve never dealt with the amount of rudeness, and people thinking they are better than you before at the library. I have no problem with anyone checking in every now and then, but to have security come through about 7 – 8 times in an hour is pure ridiculous. Why is this library the ONLY library that all of sudden that want you put the tables and chairs back? It wasn’t a requirement last year and not in the terms and condition. In my notes I stated I only needed one table to begin with. Then when I’m outside with my team, AFTER the library closed, I was rudely interrupted as if she didn’t see me talking. I don’t know what type of people they are use to dealing with, but everyone doesn’t break rules. Everyone doesn’t leave a mess. Everyone is not uneducated. Again, I’ll gladly use and recommend the other libraries, but I will never use Mildred Terry again. I went so far as to change my rehearsal schedule to avoid having to use that library. Completely unacceptable service.
