Évaluation du lieu : 5 Central City, New Orleans, LA
This is what happens when you live in a city: you grow soft, accustomed to a variety of services and stores available to you. At every turn, the options unfold. However, Columbus is not a proper large city. It’s rather far from one, actually.(NB: I lived in Columbus for a piece. Let’s just say that its many gifts and challenges are not foreign to me.) So when a bona-fide city slicker(ahem, me) stumbles into a store like this and says, «Damn, yes, I would shop here if it was also in my city!» that’s saying something. And I would. Brittany has built a stock of bath treats including bath bombs, shower fizzes, soap, towels, treats, and other fabulous gifts that are probably best given to oneself.(No shame.) I wanted to spend at least another hour just cruising her store and smelling everything, but that felt a little creepy. Be ready to get lost in the pleasures of the Bubble. The Bubble is not a «when in Rome» store. This is not a store that’s «good, for the Columbus value of good.» This is a genuine 5 star store. I can’t want to cruise back through when I’m on the road, picking up treats for me and mine. This is worth the stop. Accessibility notes: door opens in. High counter. No Braille signage. Store has space for mobility devices to maneuver. Some high displays and counters. Dim light in some parts of the store. Lots of scented products on display.
