Put up plexiglas or something to shield customers from the cold if they are seated at table by door. Heavens sakes-common sense. Do you care about customers?!

We had great service! Food and drinks were really good! Had chicken strips, onion rings and an apple martini and my husband had fish and chips with a beer. No complaints from either one of us. We will definitely be going again!

The food was just ok, I got chicken tenders that were over cooked and dry, but the honey mustard was delicious. Unfortunately none of my friends food was stellar and the service was super slow. Plenty of parking and a large bar though.

I like this place except Sundays bartender gives really small drinks and makes you wait for drinks not like its busy

Everything about tonight’s experience was perfect, great burger, magnificent clam chowder, and they even have my favorite ale.

Stopped for a beverage, and had an excellent IPA and decided some chow was in order as well. Ordered a chicken strips with onion rings combo thinking it would be a good start. Wow. It was killer and almost too much but it was sooo good, naturally I consumed everything! Will be back for more… of both

Amazing service and amazing food! Hannah was our server and she was amazing! We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was so fun! If you’re in the area definitely check this place out. The fish and chips were great and I got a Blue Velvet drink(blue moon + crispin cider) YUM!

Went to the one in Bexley. Prefer the Worthington… atmosphere, noise level is much better in Worthington. Service was ok in Bexley. But won’t return to that location.

OBON has a nice building, large bar & a really nice patio. This location is less than 5 minutes from our house, so we head here from time to time. It’s a good place to go where everyone can find something they like. They’re known for their fish & chips, and rightfully so. Their fish & chips is a huge portion, and very good. I’m a big fan of the steak fries for soaking up some vinegar-y goodness. They’ve got a pretty decent variety on the menu, and everything I’ve had has always been good. The reuben & French dip are both really good. Don’t miss out on the fried pickles if you’re looking for an appetizer. They’re full spears, not those little pickle chips. The batter is thick and crunchy, trust me, they’re really good! On our most recent visit, I tried the chicken tortilla soup, and it was very tasty. I’ll be looking for that on my next visit.

I’ve been to several of the locations, but this one the most since it is down the street from our home. This is one of the bigger locations and we generally don’t have to wait long for a table. They also have a nice outdoor patio for those great evenings! They have a large menu to choose from, but are known for their fish n chips. I do love the fish platter and it is a huge serving. Their batter is amazing and thick and the fries are great for soaking in vinegar. I also enjoy their reubens and portobello sandwich. I have heard a friend say the shrimp tasted like freezer, but everything else has gotten good reviews. Oh, and the fried pickles are #amazeballs! We have taken several friends and family and all would come back. They do have a decent sized bar and TVs so you could pop in for drinks and catching the game or, take the family and have a nice dinner.

It was a decent place for lunch, but out of all of the Old Bags, this one feels the most like a «chain», to the point where it was noticeably off putting. Other than that, it was indeed ok. Ok service, ok specials, ok food, ok ambiance. Really wish the chain would update the menu though, I’m losing preference of going to old bags because it’s all the same kind of bar food.

Staying by the Columbus airport where there is nothing but a Waffle House to eat at. Instead of heading to High St or Easton I thought I’d give this spot a try. Ordered their staple fish n chips and for being in Ohio, it was pretty darn good. Fries were steak fries and the place had good beer selection.

Finally stop in after drive by on my local commute. Excellent atmosphere. I went with a friend who ordered the house special Fish & Chips. I asked the bartender what else was good? She mention the chicken tender basket, so I ordered that. As mention before the Fish & Chips was two Huge pieces cooked to perfection. The Tenders was miss represented, it was more like 4 breaded chicken breasts cooked to perfection. We had great service from the bar on a late afternoon. Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.

Always unimpressed so I’m not sure why we continue to come here(probably because it’s close and able to accommodate larger groups than many other Bexley/Near East side eateries). Service is lackluster, vegetarian menu seriously lacking and parking is a pain. On one recent visit with friends, we had reservations yet still managed to wait 25 minutes to be seated. I get that things happen, but it was a disappointment. I’ve also ordered food to be served without chicken, only to have it come with it. Once, I didn’t discover this until after I had already taken a bite, which is frustrating. Will try to coax friends/family to other close(ish) restaurants that have more diverse menus and better service in the future.

My husband and i ordered an appetizer over 20 min ago and are still waiting for it. Our server/bartender is not only very pregnant but very apologetic… if it weren’t for those 2 factors, we would’ve walked out half an hour ago.

This is one of our favorite casual places to eat. The fish and chips are the best – I don’t know how they get their batter so good! We haven’t had a bad meal yet!

Great local chain! I usually don’t eat at chain restaurants, but this one worked out. I think it’s a local chain, which makes it a bit better. they have a $ 10 working lunch, which rotates every day/. The day we went, it was a shrimp po boy, cup of gumbo and a soda or chocolate shake. I opted for the house special, fish and chips. Two HUGE perfectly fried pieces of fish, a small cup of slaw, perfect fries and malt vinegar. Being from Seattle, i’m a bit of a fish and chips snob. This did not disappoint. the fish was cooked perfectly. Our service was also perfect, not a single complaint. I hightly recommend this place for a nice lunch, or maybe a few beers and dinner.

They serve their shakes in a 16oz. foam cup even if you are dining in… FAIL!!! The service was mediocre and the waitress I had was just there to do her job. It’s a nice place overall and the patio gets crowded on nice days. They have all you can eat shrimp and fries on Wednesday’s…BONUS!!!

Ate here late one night after arriving on a flight from KC. Server was pretty friendly and attentive. I asked about what was good and he said they were known for their seafood. Really? In Columbus, OH? OK, so I ordered the Fisherman’s platter. Fried fish, shrimp, and scallops. I have to hand it to whoever cooked that dish for me, it was perfectly fried seafood! It may not have been the freshest tasting seafood I’ve ever had but the scallops melted in my mouth, the fish was flaky, and the shrimp were nice and tender. I’ve paid MUCH more for a much more poorly executed seafood dish. If I’m ever back in the area, I would make it a point to return.

We had a nice time here. Happy hour is $ 2 off appetizers and a variety of $ 2 or $ 2 off drinks. It seems to me that there are much better happy hours out there. I ended up ordering the chicken fingers and fries. Both were good, but they didn’t really stand out. I did notice that this location has a nice patio overlooking a stream or river whatever it was. It seemed like it would be nice to sit outside on a warm weather day. I’d come back here, but I would classify it as just okay.
