This place is right across the street from my office, so I’m in there pretty frequently as they brew Starbucks coffee in the café. The service is pretty meh. The staff seems like there are a thousand places they’d rather be and will often finish their own conversations before even acknowledging that they’ve built up a line at the register. It also takes quite a long time to get your coffee/food. I will say, that the cookies(I don’t know if they’re made in-house or what) are super delicious. After 2pm they are half-price so you can get a cookie and a small coffee for like a $ 1.50. Pretty sweet.

This place should be renamed«solonga» because it always takes so long to get food… I keep coming back hoping it will change but I don’t have many options.

If you’re not a staff member of Grant Hospital, Columbus Library downtown branch or next-door neighbor Franklin University, chances are you have not heard of this lunch hotspot. And while it may not be worth traveling across town for, if you happen to be in the vicinity of Town and Grant, it’s worth a visit. Housed within Grant Medical Center, this is not hospital food. They offer a reasonable selection of freshly grilled sandwiches, paninis and wraps, along with a variety of soups, breakfast burritos, pizzas and even sushi(if you don’t mind the packaged variety). Affordably priced and served within 5 – 10 minutes, my only sticking point is their lack of an online menu, or even a website. They use their Facebook page as a surrogate webpage, but to me that’s just a lazy marketing strategy because it’s little more than a jumbled collection of photos of their creations. A little organization there would surely drum up more business.
