Antiques at a small fraction of their worth is what you’ll find at This ‘n That on the Boulevard… I met Gayle, the owner when I wandered in one day to check out the hodgepodge of misc items she sells. I wish I had a pocketful of money, as I’d purchase A LOT of items and sell them on eBay, and make a TON of money. BUT, I would give her a fair price — not what she’s asking. That is stealing from a person who doesn’t understand the innate value of antiques… She tells me she doesn’t worry about what they’re worth, she just wants to sell everything because it’s getting alittle overwhelimg having so many antiques with so few people coming in to purhcase… So now you know about Galye’s shop. Make a profit and go purchase some antiques, but PLEASE pay at least a little more than what she has marked, as it’s only fair to her. Thank you. Anna Stuart, Gayle’s friend, who’s trying to help her and the public simultaneously.

My mom and I were actually headed to Chocolate Café when we noticed this resale shop next door. It is so hidden! I love finding new secondhand spots to explore so we decided to check it out. The outside leaves a bit to be desired and it looks like they’ve set up shop in an old office building. The inside is pretty small, consisting of a few small rooms with both current and retro wares. I wasn’t really in the market for anything so I wasn’t actually shopping, but a few things did catch my eye like an old leather advertising portfolio complete with magazine ads and a daily planner from the mid-sixites — complete with politically incorrect jokes and cartoons for each day. Kinda funny. We spent maybe 15 – 20 minutes browsing. The lady at the front desk was nice and not buggy like some small shop owners can be. Maybe the next time I’m looking for some home things I may keep this place in mind. I’ll add it to my mental list of secondhand stores, but I don’t really consider it a destination on its own.
