This is a great little park situated along side of the Colorado River. The people here are always very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept as are the restrooms and pool area. As a general rule TTN parks are very rustic. We full time and love the TTN parks. At this one you can actually park next to the river. This is a Thousand Trails member park. They do welcome the general public. There is an up-charge of $ 3 a day for 50amp service. Although most Thousand Trails Parks don’t charge this $ 3, it’s still worth it.

Heading west through Texas and decided to take a week long breather here. Check in was smooth and easy, very friendly ranger. Found our spot and set up. Guess it’s off season here, plenty of spots to choose from. We chose one that was near some friends who had rerouted to meet up with us. Quite a large campground with a decent amount of space between campers. Many full hook up options, $ 3 upcharge for 50 amp. Bathrooms are clean, as is the laundry room and the activity center. They have a small pool, and a large mini golf, basketball court and a unfenced pickleball court. There are also 2 ponds on the property. There are still a few activities offered. Large grassy fields. Some a bit overgrown, but found out that was intentional. The local deer and having their little one and the fawns hide out in the grass. We were also lucky enough to see a bobcat while here. We attempted to take their 2 mile hike around the park, but could not find the trails as it has overgrown. Propane is also available here. We camped here in a 40′ class A.

Nice and spacious sites. Lots of open area. Lots of ant hills, weeds and uneven sites. Water level extremely low. To get the the activity room you have to exit the park each time.
