Like others have said, this place is HUGE! For me, what sets it apart aside from the size, is the fact that the whole things is grass, not mud(like wheeler in the short north, and sometimes Scioto Audubon). My dog loves to roll in mud, and hates taking a bath, so sometimes the dog park is an all-day adventure. Ok, so I love the grass, it’s never busy, and it’s close to my house. On the down side, there isn’t any shade, not many dogs to play with, and it’s simply a flat grassy spot. It’s not the best dog park in the city, but it’s definitely not the worst!

This was a great park for dogs at first. The rangers need to start enforcing the rules more and issuing tickets. Nobody here picks up there pets poop and its everywhere. People also bring there dogs there that are in heat. My dog has been raped 4 times there by other dogs. There are a few bad apples that bring there aggressive dogs there and let them run around with out even watching them. There is a lot of GHETTO type of people that has been coming there lately. Today I was there with my 5 month old German shepherd and there dog attacked mine biting her to where she started to bleed. I yelled at there dog to get off and the people went CRAZY saying they were going to kill me. They really need to start giving tickets out there to people that don’t pick up after there dogs and to the ones that break the rules of the dog park so us people that clean up after our dogs don’t have to step in crap or wonder if a aggressive dog is going to bite another dog. I will not be going to this dog park no more as I feel I’m in the ghetto when I am there.

The fenced in area is massive, really huge. Can’t wait to get here when there’s more dogs around(there was only a giant rottweiler there which would’ve eaten my small dog for breakfast).

The dog park is 5 enclosed acres with separate large and small dog areas that are double gated. It features walking paths nearby and has water pump access. No lighting and the trees that they planted are still young so there isn’t much shade. The latches on the gates are often broken. Overall it is very nice
