Tre Bicchieri

I have NEVER failed to have an outstanding dinner at Tre Bicchieri. Their service is great, their wines are top shelf and their cuisine is impeccable. They also have a room upstairs for larger groups which I have used and their service maintained their high standards. Local produce, attention to detail and an inviting atmosphere makes «Tre B» a new landmark for Columbus.

I travel for work and like local places… this was good. Some interesting items on the menu. I had the ravioli which was large and tasty.

Took a girl here – one of my worst dates. BUT the food made up for it. Especially the gluten-​free chicken marinara. If that doesn’t sound, good, you can build your own pasta dish! Prices are fairly reasonable too. If your looking for a classy night in town, go here. Staff is very professional. Even though I’ll be haunted by my past, I’ll definitely visit it again.

Had a lunch date with the hubs and I’ve been wanting to try Tre B for lunch so we finally did! I ordered the turkey-​cranberry panini and the hubs got the Dino Special. We both had soup for our side. Mine was delicious! I didn’t finish it because we had lovely bread with balsamic and parm dipping sauce beforehand.
The atmosphere and decorations are really underwhelming for a place trying to be so classy (and thus my 4 star rating) but the food was yummy (although not WOW) and the service was top-​notch! Kudos on service! They kept our drinks and bread filled and our food came out fairly quickly.
Definitely will be back!

Bland food. Food looked great, but had no flavor. Good ambiance. Decent service. Server got the minor change to the order wrong. I can’t say that I wouldn’t come back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice in downtown Columbus.

It is a small but very nicely decorated place. The bellini and tuscan lemonade were both delightful! The fresh calimari was also very good! I loved how the staff all work together and the clientele was very mixed (always a good sign). I had the spicy vodka sauce with fettucini and chicken. The saide was amazing and the chicken has a nice charcoal flavor. Over all it was a nice experience, we will be back!

We totally enjoyed our meal. Apetizer of walnut goat cheese was bit weak but everything else was well presented and portioned.

Our dining experience was on Friday June 26, 2015. We selected the restaurant based on the Unilocal reviews. Sadly we did not walk away with the same glowing experience as some of the previous diners.
As vegetarians we loved all the eggplant options, so we started with the Fried Eggplant appetizer. It was served piping hot but the finish was very dark… the eggplant was very thin, the bite was nice and crunchy but the flavor of the eggplant did not shine thru the over cooked breading.
I had the Kale and beet salad and my dining partner selected the Mediterranean. Both were ample servings and the beet and kale combination was quite good.
For our entre’ we both chose the build your own pasta… this was the only entre’ offering that did not include meat. I selected the linguini with Pesto sauce and steamed vegetables. The pasta was cooked perfectly, however the pesto sauce was too heavy and swimming in oil. I believe the vegetable was a medley of carrots, broccoli and squash… it was hard to tell… they were mixed into the dish and it was so dark with all the pest I couldn’t really tell. Even with all that pesto the dish lacked flavor.
My dining partner select the whole wheat penne with Marinara sauce, also with steamed vegetables. Once again the veggies were mixed into the dish… a more eye appealing presentation might have been to place the veggies along one side for a pop of color and definition. This dish also lacked that punch of flavor my dining partner was hoping for.
As for beverages, the lemonade on the first glass was very good… second was watery. My Arnold Palmer was watery as well.
We passed on dessert…
This is a great little space with plenty of ambiance… hopefully our experience was not the norm.

Tre Bicchieri has suddenly become one of the most talked about restaurants in downtown Columbus. I had a so-​so experience 5+ years ago and haven’t been back (except for a handful of corporate functions in their upstairs banquet room) and I was excited to give it another shot.
This is an Italian restaurant but the lunch menu has lots of exciting and interesting non-​pasta options. I ordered the caprese panini and it was absolutely freaking delicious. The tomatoes were ripe, it had plenty of fresh mozzarella, and it was cooked perfectly. Someone at my table ordered a shrimp salad that looked equally tasty.
The service was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy. I also saw many people dining there who I know professionally. It is always nice to be in good company. I will definitely be returning very soon!

I ordered a chicken breast panini, it had good flavor and the soup was decent. The service overall was good, but the food took almost 1 hour to get to the table.

Lovely place. We ate upstairs in the private dining room because we were a large party of 30 people. The food is good, and the wine list exceptional. The wait-​staff worked hard to keep up with our crowd.
Since we’d chosen from a prepared menu of limited (2) choices, it’s likely I’d go 4 stars for the regular menu. I’d go back, whenever I return to Columbus, with the expectation of an even better experience.

Very happy with our lunch. We arrived fairly close to closing and the staff accommodated us graciously.

For guests needing handicap restroom facilities this is an excellent choice according to my mother with her walker. If ever in the area again would definitely return. Quiet and easy to have a conversation as well.

This is an amazing place to eat. Their sweet potato gnocchi are to die for and the pork rib eye was fantastic.

My coworker and I came this restaurant as my first try. I came from out of state.
The restaurant has the good atmosphere and good customer service.
The food was okay and I think it is a bit salty.
The salad dressing for butter nut and apple salad was too sweet.
The food presentation looks good.

Food and service were great. It’s a great place to meet when you have people coming from Indy and Louisville. I had the lasagna and it was very good. Certainly a set above the chain Italian restaurants!

We were in town for parents weekend at IU. After not finding any openings at any restaurants near campus, we searched Unilocal for a nice restaurant near our hotel and thank goodness we found this one! The atmosphere was cheerful and cozy. The food was delicious. I had an ahi tuna that was cooked just right. The children had pastas. I liked the portions. Not too much (we could not take a doggie bag to the hotel), but very satisfying! Try it!

We were in town visiting some family and stopped in Tres Buccieri for dinner. Dinner was completely Delicious and the establishment was very lovely. Had the lasagna and it was fantastic. Made with spicy pork sausage and tons of yummy cheese. I would definitely return!

Wonderful, fresh & delicious! The squash & apple salad is superb! So is the Cioppino & Seafood Diablo ;-)

This was the Unilocal find of our two week trip to the midwest. I am thankful for Unilocal existing and leading me to this place on our drive from B-​town to L-​ville. We had a lovely lunch and were taken care of by a nice young lass.
Food quality was superb considering the location. Nice work all!
