Could only give two stars here. I was with Bob’s about 3 years. The facility is great and always clean. The prices are reasonable and security is up to par. The reason for the 2 star review rather than 4 or 5 is because of my experience when closing out my unit.
On their website it specifically says that your final month can be prorated to the day you empty your unit, as long as you notify them before paying your last month’s rent– which I did through the website. When I went in person to retrieve my lock and sweep out the unit I was told that I would be charged for the entire month even though I left early in the month and there was nothing that could be done. I mentioned what they claimed on their website and was told that is only if I had come in person to pay my last month (which totally contradicted the website.) This seemed to be a result of the employee not knowing how to deal with the partial reimbursement. This whole thing rubbed me the wrong way because it’s thing to just say, I’m sorry, we don’t do that. It’s another thing entirely to just falsely advertise. If the system isn’t working, then don’t roll it out to the public at the cost of customer service. Shame on You Bob.
