UYE: Bryant M’s One Year Anniversary Celebration @ Nada

Super fun-​filled evening! Great tasting food. Fabulous service. Fun to meet and chat with new and usual Unilocalers. Yahoo :)
But this review I’d like to run a bit different. Yes, I’ve commented on the restaurant itself. And the quirky atmosphere, mixed into the what seems sophisticated décor and flow, allowed for a relaxed attitude. I want to talk about Bryant and His fantastic first year of running Unilocal in Columbus!
All Bryant’s hard work has been visibly noticeable! All the networking, events, UYEs, and meeting people, I feel, is what has defined Unilocal.Bryant exudes this philosophy!

This was indeed a 5 star event. Thank you to Mike G. for planning it, and Happy One Year to Bryant! It was fun seeing familiar Unilocalers again and meeting new ones. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful. The managers were wonderful with complimentary appetizers, and with giving us a tour, especially showing us the hidden room and the men’s room (lol).
I’m so glad I was able to attend. It was a fun night.

I know we normally don’t review UYEs (Unofficial Unilocal Events), but since I don’t ever get to review Unilocal events anymore – why not?
This was my favorite Unilocal event ever, and I didn’t even plan it! My friend and fellow Unilocaler, Mike G, planned this entire shindig on his own, and it was spectacular. He worked with the lovely people at Nada to really make the evening special. We had massive tables reserved just for us; there were loads of friendly staff around; and we even got a private tour of the restaurant!
Now let’s talk about the guests in attendance… I love every person who came out during a snowstorm to help me celebrate. There were lots of familiar faces, and I made some new friends too!
I got pretty emotional on my car ride home thinking about how much I enjoyed this event. This is the reason I Unilocal: genuinely nice people – from all different backgrounds – from all over the city – from every age, size, shape and color – coming together to celebrate a love for Columbus and a love for all things local.
I am truly the luckiest boy in the world that I get to call this my job. It is an absolute joy getting to be a part of the Unilocal community and to call these fine folks my friends.
