I have had issues at this location more then once. The last two times have me wanting to write Walgreens directly due to the poor service and efficiency here. I realize the area and I know it’s probably hard to get and keep good help, but the manager should at least have his crap together. The last time I visited I had a $ 2.00 rewards coupon(you know one of those good on your next visit deals due to the fact you bought a certain item.) wanted to use it since I wasn’t able to use it on my prior visit. On this particular visit I came with the intent of getting propane for my grill and I grabbed a thing of popcorn, well as usual I waited in line forever and upon arriving to the cashier he then proceeds to search for a key to the propane tank cage. He searched for a bit and then yelled over to photo guy to come help, but photo guy can’t find it either and says that Sue did some cleaning earlier. They both continued to search and the line piles up behind us. Finally they tell us to step back so they can move the line along and they call the manager up to find out where the key is. Shocker, but he doesn’t have a clue either I finally looked at my guy and said screw this there are plenty of other places right next to Walgreens selling propane with no wait. Today is the day my $ 2.00 thing expires, but I am so irritated with them I don’t even care, because the visit before the propane visit was way worse and I should have been able to use the coupon on that visit. The visit prior to the propane incident I went in and picked up the things I wanted, I had some coupons including 2 of the $ 2.00 reward coupons(stating that you can use them on the merchandise I was buying) I get in line with my basket of things and wait and wait while the cashier slowly fumbles her way through each customer. She was an older lady and seemed new at it, but why the heck don’t they pay attention and open the other register up so customers don’t stand in line for 15 minutes I mean it’s as bad if not worse then Walmart which is why I don’t go there either. I finally get to the cashier and she rings me up and does my coupons and quotes me a price that is not correct, I tell her the coupons did not come off, but she doesn’t know what to do so she calls photo guy, but he doesn’t know what to do so he calls the manager. The manager comes up with an «I don’t care attitude» tells the cashier she has to ring in the Walgreens coupons first and then the manufacturers coupons and then he turns to me and says the amount of things I have do not exceed the amount of coupons and therefore I need to either buy something else I look at him and I say«no I have waited in this line far too long as it is and then dealing with this I am now irritated and do not wish to buy anything else so I will just keep your coupon.» He still had the«I don’t care» attitude, I am pretty sure he is the«I just sit on my arse all day in the office and try not to work» style of manager as I have only seen him when problems arise. In my opinion he should have been«customer service oriented» expressed empathy for my long wait in line and just let me have the lousy $ 2.00 credit. I kept going back due to them pairing their sales with Sunday coupons and they are fairly close to me, but… I think I will just drive out of my way to get to another Walgreens.

This is a Walgreens. It has wine. It also has baby ibuprofen, vicks vapor plug-ins and ice cream snickers bars. If you buy all those things at once the cashier might say, «You have lots of different things.» Also the Redbox here is off the hook.
