The first few times we went to this Wendy’s, it was great. I don’t know what happened, but things have gone way downhill. Once, my chicken sandwich was replaced with a junior cheeseburger. My baked potato came without silverware, sour cream, or butter. The time after that, we requested a plain potato with sour cream and butter. They barked at us that it came with it. This last time, my plain potato that we specified no chives on had chives. The worst part, though, was my grilled chicken sandwich. It was leaking everywhere from the moment I took it out of the bag. Trekking on, I removed the one measly piece of iceberg lettuce, making it a piece of grilled chicken, a soggy tomato, and a bun. The chicken was really wrong. I don’t know what was up with it because it looked fine, but tasted awful. There was a weird, artificial aftertaste with every bite. I hadn’t eaten much of anything else all day, so I ate it anyway. My stomach has been upset ever since. Fingers crossed it’s not full blown food poisoning. You can excuse a few harmless mistakes at a fast food establishment, but not the ones this one has made as of recent. I’m done.
