WiseGuy’s Auto Repair

My dad’s a mechanic, so I only get work done at a mechanic shop when I’m far from home. Now that I’ve moved out to Wisconsin, I’m thrilled to be living so close to WiseGuy’s. David and his team are honest, fast, and extremely helpful. I trust David completely – he saved me from replacing my catalytic converter with a little fix that cost $ 50… instead of $ 1300.
He always runs me through my options, and I never feel railroaded into a decision. He explains how the systems work and what the problems are, etc. I can tell he loves fixing cars and solving the problem – that’s my kind of mechanic! My car is a 2003, and has been well-​cared-​for, but she’s old. I had some warning lights due to an O2 sensor issue that had been plaguing me since a bad tank of gas in 2011. These guys fixed it four months ago – I’ve had absolutely no issue since (and I was used to getting warning lights very frequently).
I chose this place because I drive by it on my way to work, and I noticed that their lot is always full, and that there are many beautiful classics parked there waiting for work, as well. If locals are willing to trust their babies with these guys, I figured I’d give them a shot – and I’m SO glad I did.
As Steve H. said in the other review, their hours are great, too – I don’t have to take off work to get my car in. I can change my own oil too, but I’d rather just pay these guys, they’re so darn good. lol And it saves me the cleanup.
David, if you or your guys are reading this, THANK YOU. You all totally ROCK.
