Wong’s Golden Wok

I have been in search of a good chinese place, and I have found a good one, most of the time I order general Toe’s with fried rice and 2 out the 3 I have tryed either was swimming is what looks like dirty dish water, to tasting like ketchup with sugar added to it.
But Wong’s Golden Wok has there general toe’s that is spicy yet sweet sauce they cook it in and the taste is fabulous, I was very happy to find this place…
only 2 problems I had is place is dirty so I will not eat it there again, take out only for me. fried rice was cold. but other that that its good.

2 months ago I ate here and it was really good… TODAY I returned and it was not too good so I’m wondering what happened.

Typical Chinese-​American cuisine at a very affordable price. No complaints with the staff and the food has always been hot and delicious whenever I order. Like I said, standard take-​away so nothing special.

Amazing value, amazing food will continue to go here for a very long time I hope!

I’ve been eating the food here for damn near 20 years, and it’s spectacular. It’s a mom-​and-​pop joint; the wife runs the front and the husband does all the cooking. Their kids took it over for a couple years and the quality went down, but since mom and dad came back, the food’s been as great as I remember.
Things get really busy around dinnertime. That’s the same with any restaurant. The thing with this place is that they get everyone’s food done in record time without sacrificing quality. If you go in when they’re not slammed, you’ll wait maybe 10 minutes for your food. If you’re in when they’re slammed, you’ll wait about 30 – 45 minutes (totally worth the wait, though, because your food is piping hot when it’s brought out). Oh, and the wife has a FANTASTIC memory. If you’re a regular with a usual, she’ll verify that that’s what you want and put the ticket in the window. You don’t have to tell her twice as long as your order is the same. She had my dad’s order memorized after our 3^rd visit (he gets the same thing every time).
They have dine-​in and carry out services. Space for dine-​in is limited, though. If you order something for carry out, like the spicy chicken, carry your bag completely level. The sauce isn’t easily contained in the box and it will spill everywhere if it’s lopsided.
Fantastic food, fantastic service… can’t ask for anything better.

Perfect little hold in the wall chinese food. We started getting wongs about… wow im getting old…15 years ago, when we moved to the westside. It is always the same little chinese lady in the front and the same little chinese man in the back. The food is hot, tasty, and filling. Also, in 15 years, my order has never been wrong. Shes a little abrupt, and sometimes you have to deciper what shes saying, or just nod your head and smile, you overcome the language barrier after a few years. Wor Su Gai is amazing there, its all my best friend ate when she was prego, and the wonton soup is spicy. Their house fried rice is one of my favs.
