I’ve had spotty experiences — some good, some bad. The atmosphere is very un-spa-like. Cluttered, bad lighting, no music. Last time I visited, there was a strong and unpleasant odor of fried food. But, if you’ve got a sore muscle, they can provide some short-term relief.

So… I went to Yi’s the other night, and the place smelled of smoke as did my massage therapist. He did a good job, but it felt unclean. The time before, some lady worked on me, and really did nothing. I left feeling disappointed and that I had wasted my money. I think I’m going back to paying for regular massages. I know: first world probs.

Does anywhere on your body particularly hurt constantly? If so you need to take some time and stop into this place. I went on a whim, as a dental assistant I get kinks in my neck and back from being hunched over. I was in a lot of pain. Upon arrival I chose a 15min massage to start. I was taken to a bed and laid out face first. Fully clothed, a lady rubbed my neck shoulders and problem areas and dug right into my knots. You pay $ 1 per minute. It’s well worth it. By the end I was drooling and felt relaxed. You get what you need here, it’s minimal. There is relaxing traditional Asian music in the background and the space is open with dividers separating you from others. The service was friendly, and afterwards go next door for food because I think they also own Yi’s Bento Express and you’ll feel fully restored as a human being. I will be a returning customer
