Zaxby’s

Got a hunger for crummy fast food? Go anywhere else. This place is just not good. The staff are nice, but the quality of the food is not there. The décor is uncomfortably crammed in and the same goes for the furnishings. Stepping outside to leave I noticed the place smells exactly like you feel when you’re done eating there, like grease and shame.

We figured we stop here to get something to eat. We’ve never been and i always see the commercials and we always drive by but never stop. I dont know why i always thought this was more of a restaurant. I really had no idea it was fast food. Anyway.
The booth we chose to sit in happened to be so sunk in, the table was too high to eat at. We had to move to a table. I went to grab a high chair for my daughter and i was turned off again. They were so filthy! It really looked like no one ever cleans them.
I had the zaxby club meal, figuring it would be good because it carries the restaurant’s name. Honestly, i didnt think it was worth over $ 6 for a chicken strip sandwich w/​crinkle fries & drink. I guess i was expecting some kind of signature taste but it couldve been anyone’s chicken sandwich. But it was good, just not signature great or different in any way.
My husband did have the wings and said they were good. My son did not like the chicken nibblerz sandwiches. Tip — I asked for hot sauce and found it was 25 cents. Turned off again.
We’ve always been curious about this place. With all that said, it was ok, maybe even good. But we both decided that we dont necessarily need to go back.

If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. My husband, son, & mother-​in-​law went to this Zaxby’s bc it was closest to us & we just wanted to grab a quick bite. We were all sitting there enjoying our chicken & Zaxby’s sauce when all of a sudden I see a little mouse run across the floor. I immediately started gagging & had to spit out my chicken in my sons kids meal bag. No one else could see the walkway that the mouse ran across so no one believed me. I posted on Facebook what I saw & a friend just told me her friend was at the same Zaxby’s a little later this afternoon & stepped on a dead mouse. NOW the family believes me that I saw what I knew I saw all along. Its disgusting & I’ve been feeling sick all day just knowing I ate food from that filthy restaurant! I like sharing meals with friends, just not the furry rodent kind.

My last trip here will be just that… my last trip. I waited in line for almost ten minutes without being greeted. That ended up being a good thing. Before I could even make it to the counter to order, another customer came to the counter asking for a manager because he saw a roach crawling up the window and wanted his money back. He got no reply. After repeating himself two more times, one of the employees told the customer that the manager was on her way up to the front from the office. Still, not being greeted yet, I decided to leave and go eat elsewhere. I don’t know if they ever realized I was even in there. The lady in line in front of me gave up and left as well. I suggest that if you want Zaxby’s, go to another location. It will defiantly be worth the extra money you spend in gas.

I literally only come to this location if I’m close & really really want Zaxby’s. My order gets messed up frequently. You have to ask that the celery is placed in a bag, if not its thrown in with your wings with sauce all over them. They also don’t understand what «extra wet» means when ordering wings. Barely any sauce on wings or chicken fingers when ordering. Spare some time & go to another location, unless its an emergency.
