This Establishment is PHENOMINAL… From the time I walk in through the Front door to the Bar, my Experience is, once again, PHENOMINAL… The GM Rich is a polite Gentlemen and always says Hello. The Bartenders are AMAZINGGGGGGGGGG(drop dead gorgeous) and the service is Great. A must to Experience… One thing I miss is the old manager, in which she is now a GM at another millers close by, is MARISSA… she was such a pleasant person to come across…

Big n noisy, which is what I needed for a night out with friends. The burgers were juicy and delish… cooked perfectly. Staff moves fast and I like the big bar area w outside fenced in seating.

First trip when they opened, food, service, was great. Thought we had a great new place in Commack. Each time since, food and service have seriously declined. Burgers over done, service rarely checks on you. You get one drink if your lucky maybe a refill.

«It’s huge!!» That was the first thing that came to mind as my daughter and I were led to our table. The second thing that came to mind was«It’s loud,» as we walked past a table with a couple of kids that clearly wanted to go home. By the time the check came, none of that mattered. We had a good meal, got to watch some hockey, and had a great conversation. We shared a combo appetizer which has a little of everything you’d expect: fried mozzarella, spinach dip, potato skins, and onion rings, which were all very tasty. I had a loaded Philly cheesesteak sandwich with mozzarella cheese(not a fan of American cheese) and my daughter had a salad. We both liked what we ordered, and might have had room for dessert if we weren’t completely stuffed. This is definitely a good place for watching live sports, and if draft beer is your thing, they have a good selection.

I have stopped in here to watch a game with my friends, but actually went last week for dinner. They seated us relatively quickly and the server did a very good job. Their burgers were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ordered their boneless and bone in hot wings. The boneless wings were pretty god but the bone in wings were thrown together and had barely any sauce on them. There was just a small amount of sauce on the bottom of the plate. Other than that there were no issues.

Drinks are the cheapest deal around, but the food could be better. If you are looking for typical bar food it is okay, but far from good.

Contrary to popular belief, a sports bar can have decent food with healthy options too. My friend suggested we come here for dinner on Saturday night and I immediately thought I was going to have to scan the menu for something I was able to modify to suit my needs. Turns out they have a lighter fare option, AWESOME. I’ll back up a bit. I had never been to Millers before, but I have been to every restaurant in this location before Millers and it’s never lasted very long. I think this place will be the exception. There is plenty of parking but was very busy around 5:30 at night. There were no booths available, only high top tables and the high top tables were large, seating 6 or more people, so we felt a bit awkward sitting at a table that large. The hosts were friendly, seating us quickly and letting us know the soup of the day which ended up not being the correct soup, but it didn’t matter much to us. We were greeted by a server shortly after who was bubbly and attentive. The atmosphere here is very casual; so casual and laid back that a server walked past our table loudly complaining to the host about«triple seating her section.» Sports bar or not, conversation like that shouldn’t be overheard by guests and as a server myself, who doesn’t love being triple sat? That’s neither here nor there. They have lunch and dinner specials every night along with a craft beer special. The prices are very reasonable, cost to add additional chicken or steak on a salad in the $ 4 range. The menu states calorie information which is either a love or hate thing, I personally love it. I think the interior is pretty great, very large bar, lots of seating but ample open space to stand around the bar, beautiful wooden floors and wooden booths. It was a very comfortable feel. I thought they were going to have a bigger beer selection, and their wine list was pretty bad. Their offerings by the glass are not good. I guess I can’t expect great wine at a Sports bar though so I can’t fault them too much for that. My friend got chicken nachos and the portion was humungous, enough for five people, great appetizer option. She was only able to eat about ¼. I went with an option off the lighter fare menu and was happy with the dish. Grilled chicken, steamed red skin potatoes and the vegetable of the day. I asked about the vegetable and it was corn. I hate corn so I asked if I could swap for something else and she suggested broccoli, perfect. Our server made sure to let me know she wasn’t going to charge me extra for broccoli, which didn’t need to be said, also didn’t think there should have been an upcharge either way. The food came out very quickly. Three very thin, but tasty grilled chicken breasts, six or seven potatoes and steamed broccoli, everything was great, super healthy, not a drop of salt or butter, exactly what I had hoped for. The server brought me some salsa on the side and when she came by to offer me a box and saw the salsa was empty, she put a full extra one in the box for me, very nice. I had a beer with dinner, my friend had a soda and the check came to $ 31. Not bad for the portion. This place would be very fun to watch a game at, looking forward to coming back again.

MY meal tasted toooo salty. When I researched the hidden nutritional information, I learned that with the exception of the steaks, grilled salmon, baked potato and a few other items the sodium content is quite high. Hopefully Suffolk County will follow NYC in requiring salt shaker icons on the menu to indicate high sodium content. According to the nutritional information the sodium count is exclusive of the sauces and sides. For example the cobb salad has 4230 mg of sodium. The shrimp scampi has 8250 mg of sodium. One half rack of baby rack ribs has 2000 mg of sodium. The chicken nachos have 3,380 calories.

Two things annoyed me during my last visit here. 1-The prices for the food on the menu are not the same as the prices on the check. The cost of my dinner selection on the bill was more expensive than the price listed on the menu. This has happened to me a few times at other restaurants too and I wonder why they are able to get away with it. 2-Stone IPA is no longer served in pint glasses due to the semi-high alcoholic content. They are now served in 12 oz glasses, however they kept the price the same. The Commack Miller’s is much nicer than the Deer Park location and has a better atmosphere; I just wish management would get their act together when it comes to pricing.

This visit was better. I enjoyed the fish tacos, they were decent for this type of restaurant. The fish was grilled which I like and not covered in breadcrumbs and fried. The kids enjoyed their meals, and all the adults were happy with their meals as well. The zingers were really good especially with the Sweet Thai chili sauce. It was my nieces bday so she was served a complimentary dessert which was delicious! I would go to Millers just for this! Capt’n Jack’s Buried Treasure! It’s a homemade ice cream cake with Oreo cookie crust, caramel, chocolate fudge, and Heath bar crunch… yes!!! The service was friendly but we had to ask for extra napkins, water, and things we ordered that didn’t come out but they made sure to make everything right and that made us feel pleased. We will be back.

Lots of cheap unhealthy food and beer. Lots of TV’s to watch sports. Sticky tables and loud groups. If that’s your thing then go visit Miller’s Ale House, a Florida Chain that’s come to Long Island. This location in Commack is home to many failed chain restaurants and 454 Grille. Let’s see if this one can survive.

I used to love this place… then the bullsh! t started. First, they seated us an 30 minutes later tell us if we don’t leave in 15 minutes there gonna charge us for a boxing fight. It would have been fine if he told us that before hand. But right when we get our food? No. So we eat as fast as we could. The next time i went back i found a fly in my jumbolya. It was disgusting, i took my money back an left. Millers is a two time loser in my book

I like this Millers location better simply for the fire pit outside. It’s really nice and cozy but if you’re not a smoker I can’t really see it being of any use too anyone. The last time I was there(last week), the margarita pitchers were simply sugar. Literally had no alcohol. If I wasn’t over the night I would’ve sent them back to the bar. The chicken fingers were absolutely horrible. Should’ve sent those back too. My meal(chicken with some sides) wasn’t bad but nothing to rave about. Food here really isn’t the focal point, definitely more about drinking and watching sports.

I have been to Millers a bunch of times. The commack location is wonderful because of the large parking lot. Millers is a big sports bar with a lot of tables. They have tons of TVs all over and a full size bar. Their booths can fit big parties and they have high tables for smaller groups. My absolute favorite is their Zinger Mountain Melt. It is chicken finger zingers dipped in your sauce choice over a bed of loaded fries with ranch. I never can finish the platter and always need to bring it home! I absolutely love it. Their buffalo shrimp is good, and also their brownie sundae is yummy. Millers also does great drink specials. They have margarita and sangria pitchers for groups to share which is very yummy. My only complaint is the hostess’. Everytime I have entered there has always been 3 – 4 girls standing together, and they always say«you can just sit here,» and point to the table. Both times they have sat me in the table closest to the door which is huge huge booth that is not comfortable for only two people.

We always enjoyed Miller’s in Deer Park, so we tried the one in Commack. NEVERAGAIN. I ordered a Sam Adams Summer Ale(on tap). It was horrible.(And I have had the beer many times and enjoyed it. Maybe their taps are dirty, but it was an awful beer.) So I ordered a Miller Genuine Draft(bottle) because I didn’t trust their taps. They were out of it, so I ended up with a Diet Pepsi. Strike one. I ordered the wings, with ranch dressing. I got one ranch, one blue cheese. Strike two. My wife ordered a burger, medium rare. It was medium well, except the middle which was rare. But at least the bun fell apart. Strike three. Miller’s Ale House of Commack… You’re out!

Date of visit: April 16 or 17, 2015 Met a friend and stopped in here for lunch as it was close by and I know of peeps who had come here with friends to catch a sporting event. As it was my first time here I had to try their World Famous Zingers. Was not at all impressed. For lunch I went with the Blackened Chicken Key Lime salad and my friend went with the Apple Walnut salad with added avacado. Salads were ok — nothing spectular or out of the ordinary. I probably would not choose to return as there are too many other places I would enjoy more. Just my opinion, but I’d say the food and place is better suited for bar crowds.

I really don’t have any complains about this place expect its to big. I know that’s a weird thing to say. but sometimes I feel it takes away from a place and gives it that typical chain restaurant. which lets face it. it is. but hey people must love it because the place is always packed out every time i go. the food was ok although I really only stick to appetizers. but if your looking for a quite night out. go someplace else.

Cheap beer and fried goods… Seriously– this place is heart attack heaven but sometimes you need that stuff to get you through the day. I am a fan of the Miller’s chain in general and I really haven’t had a bad experience at any of their places and the new Commack location is no exception. Friendly help, cheap prices and generally tasty, if totally unhealthy food sum up the place and it is always pretty packed out– your best bet is a saturday or sunday afternoon to avoid the mayhem. That goes out the window during football season however. The menu selection is pretty broad and yes, there are a few healthier options on there but by and large this is bar food writ large. Portions are ginormous and you most likely will not be able to eat all of whatever you order. Definitely worth a shot if in the area! Parking in front

Ok let’s recap on this black hole of a lot which seems to gobble up restaurants into its abyss. First we had Golden Corral: food trough for the masses. Wasn’t sad to see that one go. Then came Charlie Brown’s Steak House which I actually enjoyed, however corporate misappropriation absconded that one away. Next came the fledgling Grill 454 which pathetically held on for less than a year. Now, seemingly out of nowhere arises the gargantuan Floridian chain restaurant Miller’s Ale House? Did someone not do their geographical research on this doomed property? Anyway, with that said(I digress), I checked out Miller’s on opening night. Never having the prior experience of dining at MAH, I was a little perplexed at what MAH actually is going for. An ale house? Not really — although they do serve beer of the mundane sort. A restaurant? I guess — «food» of barely edible and cheap quality is served there. No, MAH is more like«rec hall dining», a cafeteria inside of a basketball court. The enormously vast expanse of this place just seems so unnecessary. Seating accommodates 350 people at one time! Sports fans will certainly love this place with its wall to wall television screens. Probably a fun place to watch a game or grab a late night drink here and there(closed at 2 am), but beyond that, I would not make this a «dining out» destination at all. Decent shot specials though.
