ERRATIC PICK UP DEPENDABILITY. LEFT ME IN A BAD SITUATION BY NOT PICKING UP WHAT I HAD ALREADY P A I D E X T R A FOR.
I’ve used this company for several months. In the last 2 months they have missed picking up my trash three times. I travel for work and because I did not call them within 48 hours they would only give me credit for 2 times. Before I moved from my home, I called and asked them what they would charge to pick up things beyond the usual trash bags. They quoted me a price for 30 boxes plus my weekly service fee. I moved from the house with all confidence that everything would be picked up off the curb. And N O N E of it was, not even the 4 ordinary bags of trash. Not only did they not pick anything up, they did not notify me they were not picking it up causing problems for the new owners and for me since I had already left the state. Aye I called them, They said it was too much to pick up. Even though there was less than 30 boxes I paid for and over half of them were empty. They only offered to credit what I paid as I complained and said I would put a review on social media. I asked speak to the owner of the company, David, but you never called.

After having gone through a nightmare of an experience with waste management for a year, I searched for a better, local trash and recycling provider.
I set up my service with Lies online, it was easy! They were also doing a special for new clients which made it even better. They provide a sheet that details acceptable recyclable items and highlights your recycle pick up dates — a nice touch as it can all become a blur. I received a courtesy call a day or two prior to my bin drop off and first service day which is awesome. (with waste management I was lied to for weeks regarding my bin arrival date and then only received one recycle bin, no trash).
So far I have had their service for 4 months and they have never missed a pick up for trash or recycling. I had to call the office one time with a question regarding service. They recently changed locations and did not have their phone set up yet. I left a voicemail and my call was returned minutes later. The ladies I have spoken to on the phone are always pleasant and helpful!
One complaint I have — they very often leave the bins directly in front of the entrance to my single car driveway. When I get home I have to get out of my vehicle and move them before I can pull in. If they can get that together then I would be one thrilled customer.
Despite their poor placement of bins, I recommend their service!

This company is a joke! On several occasions they forgot to pick up my trash. Our trashman is rude, digs through our trash and throws trash in our yard! Our trash cans aren’t even full! They aren’t worth the money I pay.

I’m 100% pleased with their service! I could set my watch by them; the L.I.E.S truck rolls up and picks up my trash every Tuesday, between 9:55am and 10:45am. My trash cans are treated respectfully, which I appreciate. If I’m out in the yard, the guys wave hello.
Speaking of the guys, they’re all nice-​looking. Young and clean-​cut, not all scruffy and gross like the trash guys at our old company, «waste-​of-​time mismanagement.»

I had so many issues with Waste Management it’s not even funny. I was desperate for a different waste removal provider and Lies was one of the only ones in my area. They are fantastic! I see that other reviewers have had issues with them not picking up trash, I can honestly say that’s never happened to us. They have come every week and get our trash and recycling without issue for the last 9 months. Plus, they’re so affordable. You can pay your bill online too which I like, but their website is a little old school and not the most user-​friendly thing.

I researched several different waste companies to service my new residence and Lies Waste Systems was the clearcut winner in terms of value, cost, and overall customer service. I requested both recycling and trash pickup. The pickup schedule was clearly communicated, the bins were delivered on time, and the trash and recycling were picked up as promised. These first few weeks have been a tall order, too. Moving in has yielded more boxes, trash, and yard clippings than I care to admit, but the crew at Lies has handled it like pros. I couldn’t be more pleased!

I’d just like to confirm what others have said about their service: They forget pick-​ups. Then, when you call and confirm a second pick-​up, they still forget it. They also lost our paperwork. 5 calls and 3 confirmations from their service team, and neither our trash or our recycling was picked up. Not happy.

They’ve thrown trash back into our yard several times and more often than not the cans are not fully emptied. They are better and cheaper than Waste Mgmt though but that’s a pretty low bar.

My wife and I have worked our way through 3 waste services so for and finally found a winner. Lies consistently picks up on time and allows alley pick up for both trash and recycling, which was a huge plus for us, living on a relatively busy street. The best part about Lies is the customer service. When we call in, within a few rings he call is answered, and by a real person. To give an example, we had a missed service, so we called to ask why. We immediately got help from the rep, found out we didn’t have our email set up correctly in the system so didn’t get a payment reminder and so hadn’t paid for service. We corrected the profile, set up auto pay, and scheduled a late pick up all without any headaches. So happy with this company over the competition for our area.

Still happy with trash service– always prompt and reliable, but twice in the past month I’ve had to call to remind them to get recycling and then it sits on curb for 2 extra days until they can pick it up.

This service was amazing until November.. Since November, I have had nothing but problems! First (being 9 months pregnant and in the middle of moving) i called to have our service address changed with an emphasis on having ALL trash (even if they had to charge me extra) and the cans picked up one last time at the Old address before the service move just to find out that only SOME of the trash was picked up AND THE CANS LEFT SPRAWLED OVER MY DRIVEWAY! so my realtor had to clean up the mess so he could show the house! !!! Then my trash was NOT picked up 2 times in a row at the new address! When I called to have them fix it they said they would be out on Friday and they still didn’t come! I fired this company and then it took WEEKS for them to remove their cans from my property! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I have hired several waste companies at some point in my life (all of which were acquired by Waste Management) and Lies has been the best by far. Although the first couple of weeks there were issues getting our trashed picked up on the right day, they were always out the next day to make sure the trash was picked up. On top of that, the days where my wife was home and in the garage as they were picking up the trash, they would always wheel the totes back to my garage and were very pleasant and polite. Their customer service is also superb. They will work to make sure you are a satisfied customer and I haven’t experienced a time where they were condescending or belittling with anything (as opposed to companies like Waste Management or BFI). The first quarter after signing up was only $ 26 and then $ 48/​quarter after that. You also don’t have to buy or rent their totes (which most other companies seem to require).
As a side note, I also worked in sales for trash removal companies and can tell you that their front office has their stuff together. All in all, I would highly recommend Lies Waste Systems if they are available in your area.
