Went in here 2 weeks ago and talked with Jon in appliances, good service then. Walked in here 11⁄16 and called 2x for appliances as well as called from my cell phone. No one came to appliances in 30 min. Unacceptable service for my husband and I who were going to buy our 4 appliances tonight. Guess Lowe’s doesn’t need our money! Shop elsewhere. Or at least a different store.

Pretty nice location, it was clean and tidy. The service was unusually good here compared to other lowes I’ve been to. I’m not sure if it was this time, I’m curious to see if the service is just as good the next time we go here.

I typically go to a different Lowe’s and must say I will continue going to a different Lowe’s. I simply went here to return a rug I purchased from another store. I was hesitant to do so because I misplaced my receipt. A few days prior I called the store I usually go to and was advised by a customer service rep that no receipt is needed. they can access the data with my credit card and process the refund with no problem. Well for convenience purposes only, I stopped at the Lowe’s that is on my way home from work. I went to the customer service desk to be second in line, no big deal… after a few minutes, it’s my turn. Gina, the gal working customer service was such a sourpuss! Not sure if she was having a bad day or what her problem was, I don’t care. She never said hello. May I help you… She just looked at me with disgust and a frown. Her expression said, yeah, what do you want? Keep in mind I don’t have my receipt. One would have thought I was asking for her first born. She proceeded to explain how she has to add the item into the system and I swear she sighed while doing so. I don’t care what you have to do. Just do it. Customers don’t need to hear every little detail about what you have to do on the computer. Gina should be unloading stock in back because she clearly doesn’t like people. I’ll continue going to the White Lake store where people smile and offer help. Thanks cranky! I mean Gina!

Bait & Switch Ordered granite countertop at Lowe’s. I took the measurements of the existing countertop to the store, the salesman(Gordon) gave me a quote, we agreed to it and had to pay for the entire project right there in the store. We then had to drive 30 miles to pick up the slab(lost a morning) and had to be home for supplier to take final measurements(another half a day). A couple days later the sales guy from Lowe’s calls to inform us that our measurements were«wrong» and it would be another $ 250. I am a mechanical engineer, with 20+ years of field experience. My measurements are seldom wrong. I re-took every measurement and photographed it this time. Went to Lowe’s and asked manager(Michael) to show me exactly which measurement was wrong. After 20 min waiting for him while he was discussing this with somebody on the phone, he came back and told me that all of my measurements were exact, but that Lowe’s «miscalculated» the amount of material required and had to «adjust» the quote. I told him that since they made me pay for it even before installation, this was not a «quote» but a contract, and since I did not change anything and this was their admitted mistake, they were responsible for it. In the end, I just canceled the entire project and got the refund. Most likely, contractually I could force them to honor the price I already paid for the work that didn’t change, but at this point, I have zero trust in them and am sure that they would try and find a way to screw me over. This is a classic bait and switch. Do not fall for it. Shop elsewhere. They are dishonest.

Built a new home in 2012. I used Lowe’s for a lot of my new home construction purchases. I also used them to get a quote on carpet after being initially told that I could have carpet installed within 10 days. After the measurement was complete, I was told that the carpet could not be installed as originally promised due to the holidays. Lowe’s was aware of the holiday calendar as we were discussing measurement, but the individual arranging the measurement thought it was doable. The person that thought it was doable was different than the person who delivered the quote and told me it was not feasible. I was so disappointed and also out $ 35. I ended up going with another carpet company that was able to meet my needs of installing within 7 days. I requested a $ 35 refund of Lowes and was told the manager would need to approve and they would call me back. I never received a call back.

I never thought I’d say this… Home Depot has lost a customer to Lowe’s. Great selection, better value and friendly staff. What I like the best? You can return just about anything without a receipt and if you used your credit card they can refund right back to your card. No hassles like Walmart, Target and other stores I don’t shop at any more because of their«unfriendly» return policies.

Please, oh please, don’t make me(let me) go in here. Time to paint and redecorate. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I hate picking colors. Any color is fine. Too many pretty color swatches. Is it beige, egg shell, what is it??? Pick a color, aaarrggghh. Can I go look at tools? I must. Must be a man. Ew, I need brushes, can opener, paint stirer. Can I get an auto spray painter? Make my job easy. I love weekends. Well, this is a really good Lowe’s. As mentioned by the other reviewers, good service like you expect from Lowe’s. Great store.
