My daughter and I just went to Lucy nails for the first time, and loved it! We got a manicure with the powder nail polish. Michael and Lucy did an amazing job, and were very friendly! We will definitely go back, and recommend it to our friends.

I have had 2 bad experiences with this salon. The second time, they told me the wait would only be 5 minutes then I watched as person after person were placed ahead of me as I sat with acetone on my nails. I waited so long that my fingers were burning. When I told them, they said it wasn’t time yet. When they finally did get to me, they couldn’t get my shellac odd, then told me it was my fault as if I’ve never had shellac before. I had to leave without my nails done. Just awful service

This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. I just left now so upset because I went in at 11:03 and asked for a manicure and no one gave me a wait time so I figured they would able to do it soon. So I sat down and they took two people ahead of me even though I’ve been already sitting for almost 20 minutes! They could’ve told me from the beginning its going to take 30 – 45 minutes for a manicure so I didn’t have to waste my time there. This is not the first time I’ve spent 30 minutes there waiting and leaving upset. I will never step foot in this salon again.

I am In the area on business and wanted to change my shellac manicure. I almost passed this place up based on the reviews but decided to gamble anyway. If you’re looking for a swanky, high-end salon, this is not your place but if you just want to get good service for a good price there is nothing wrong with this place. I feared they’d tear up my nails when removing the old shellac and hack into my cuticles but the tech did a great job– and if you like supporting local businesses, Lucy was there.

I typically come here and are very good. They are always busy. But today. I walked in. They weren’t super busy. They didn’t acknowledge me for about 5 minutes. Then they had me wait at the front for about 10 minutes. Until someone told me to go to the back to soak for my pedicure. They put me at a chair. Without water. 5 people walked past me. Until the lady that was sitting next me me said to her tech. That she didn’t think there was water in mine. And her tech turned it on. Didn’t check water temps tire or anything. Tub filled up with freezing cold water. Another 5 minutes pass. A lady comes over to start the pedicure. Doesn’t say anything to me at all. Does everything(but didn’t scrub my feet and I’m not sure why.) then asks what color I wanted. I showed her where I put it. She polished my nails and then asked if I wanted a manicure. At that point I had been there already longer than I wanted. So I paid and left. Very disappointed. Typically I get much better service than that.

This place lacks nail expertise. I always get the same person doing my nails here and she doesn’t do a good job. I only come here when I’m very desperate to get my nails done because it’s so close to home otherwise I would not think twice to walk into the place.

I went with my mom to get her nails done and decided to get mine done as well… I got gel and shellac on top. I always get this at my normal nail shop and I have never had a problem before… my nails chipped and now they look awful. I needed to go to work the next day so I called to get it fix but I was a few minutes to late to get it fixed… I shouldn’t have to wait to get something fixed that I didn’t mess up… uhhhhh never again will I go here…)

I have been going to Lucy’s for years. Even as a young child I remember my mother going to her other location on orchard lake(orchard nails) I always try other nail salons and they don’t take care of me the way they do. Michael for instance perfects his work and his work will last you. He’s very friendly and always means well. The other girls file and buff to perfection also — my main thing is if you file correctly(anyone can paint nails. Right?) You also have to know what times to go around because at times they get WAY too hectic. You should expect to be there for 1 – 4 hours depending on what you are doing. I always love Lucy but do not like when she does my nails because she rushes too much! But as a salon, they are very clean and wonderful!

I love Lucy’s and I love her. I get it, she’s a little bit cold BUT I know she means well. I hate seeing people saying she’s rude. I haven’t had a bad experience with a tech there. How can you discredit and be upset with an employee that dealing with a language barrier? We all need to make a living out here. Lucy’s is a great place my nails are always beautiful and my shellac lasts over 2 weeks.

I don’t even wanna give one star! I brought my daughter in today to get her nails done, she’s only 12 years old but she’s a tall girl. I asked the lady«how much it’s gonna be for a child» she says $ 25 so I said«same price as for an adult?» So she looks at my daughter from top to BUTTOM and laughs at our face and says«yes $ 25»! She insulted her, made her feel very insecure! So rude and so mean! No wonder why she was sitting there doing her own nails! They had no people there! I would recommend her, to take a look at herself before judging the child by her height. Never going there again and I’ll make sure i tell everyone around how rude they are!

Lucy is the rudest manicurist I have ever met, and her employees follow in her footsteps. When, from rough filing, a piece of nail sticks out, they claim its skin! When nails are not filed straight and both hands don’t match, they always blame it on the customer and do not aim, or even try, to please. Lucy has told clients, in from of everyone on the floor, not to return and insulted them. A couple of times I had to wait u t ½ hour WITH an appointment A compliant client who says everything is great is the only one welcome there. Don’t go here if you want a good mani or pedi! Saving a couple of dollars is so not worth it! I don’t think I’ve ever written such a bad review — or had such a nasty experience with something that’s supposed to be pleasant and a treat:(!

Wow, it is a sad day when you go for a service and only hear two things in English(manicure & pay now). Instead of being asked to hold my hand a certain way i had my hand/arm push or tapped, and when asked to wash my hands the act was acted out as if we were playing charades. The quality was less than great and I do not plan to go back.

I walked into Lucy’s Nails without an appointment and was quickly ushered to a massage chair for my pedicure. Love not having to wait! One of the employees started working on my feet asap and I gotta say… she gave me a foot/leg massage that was to die for. The massage lasted approximately twenty minutes and the stress that I had from earlier in the week quickly melted away. I tipped well for the amazing massage but I was in such a Zen-like state when I left that I failed to look at the polish job. Somebody didn’t stay in between the lines(ahem, on my toenails) for this pedi! There was polish on the skin of at least five of my toes and I immediately pulled out nail polish remover when I got home to fix the errors. Boo.

I was incredibly disappointed with the manicure and service I got here. I was in town for a wedding and the nail place I’ve gone to previously was closed so I found the next closest one which was unfortunately Lucy’s. I waited for a little bit — that’s fine, I was a walk-in on the weekend. Then I had the worst manicure I’ve ever had. She first tells me that my color choice is bad because I have short nails. I like bold nail colors and I have short nails — so what? I’m the customer. But she wouldn’t let go of it — she kept being rude/complaining about how short my nails were. Additionally, my cuticles still looked bad afterward and she got polish on my skin and never took it off. I pay money for a manicure so my nails look good not to be treated like a nuisance. The nail technician was gruff, rude and dismissive throughout the entire appointment. She took phone calls and didn’t focus on my nails at all. When I mentioned to her that I didn’t have polish on parts of my nails(she didn’t paint the edges of my nails, more so than I’m used to), she once again blamed it on my short nails. The whole experience was not a pleasant one and I felt frustrated I spent my money at such an establishment.

ewwww! I got WARTS from Lucy’s Nails! I was happy with my first visit(great price for mani/pedi). On my second visit, I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment, they didn’t get to me until 10:45. This was only after I had asked three times about my appointment time and shared my need to get to my daughter’s graduation. They took me back into a pedi chair that already had luke warm water bubbling in the foot bath. They had me sit there with my feet in the water for another 20 minutes before anyone came to do the pedicure. Then, they rushed through the mani/pedi to get me out in time. A few weeks later I started seeing warts on the bottoms of both feet(I’ve had no other public exposure and no one else in the house has/had warts). There’s no other possible explanation for the warts except the long exposure I had to «used» water in the pedi bath. SAVING a few dollars is NOTWORTH the pain, embarassment and treatment of plantar warts!!!

I’ve been a long standing customer –4 years to be exact. and had my first unpleasant experience. I was sent to a chair that was broken and had to endure a substandard pedicure When I addressed the issue, I was told by a long-time employee, «quit your complaining.» The owner is aloof and they don’t seem to care, due to the significant amount of business they turn Then again, you’re not dealing with the brightest people in the world either.

this place runs like a well oiled machine… you choose the polish from the wall(they have all current colors) and then you head back to soak your feet for a pedicure in their massaging chairs. sometimes a second employee starts my manicure while the first is working on my pedicure — either way, i have always been out in a timely manner. I do, however, only go in the mornings right when they open, as i have seen it get crowded quickly. i don’t know if they take appointments; i always just walk in. aAnd the prices can’t be beat: mani/pedi $ 30 plus tip(i can get one every week if i want!), shellac mani $ 25 plus tip(no chips for 2 weeks). can’t believe i actually used to pay $ 70 for my mani/pedi before i found this place.
