Buyer beware. I paid a tech to come out (100 $) to give me a diagnosis on my AC. I knew beforehand that the unit powered on, and the furnace fan worked, but the motor didn’t spin. I figured that the motor was just seized. The tech told me he knew how to fix it and changed out the capacitor. Clearly this didn’t work because the motor was seized. He then just said I needed to replace the whole outside unit, ~2 grand. I am glad that I got a second opinion because all it needed was a 200 $ part (replace the fan motor) and now my AC works great. I would recommend getting a second opinion outside of these guys if they give you a similar diagnosis.
To clarify: this is the correct company. I couldn’t figure out how to change my location on Unilocal from Gaylord. I’m not really sure why it was ever Gaylord in the first place as I’ve only been there once in my life. My profile now shows the correct location. Believe me, I am competent enough to know the correct company which I gave my business to, and wasted my time and money. I could have wasted a lot more money, but had the foresight to get a second opinion. I diagnosed the issue correctly having about zero HVAC knowledge while the tech just tried to get me to purchase an entire new unit from this company. Like I said, buyer beware. Get a second opinion, or rightemp– train your techs better.

I am SOOOOOO pleased with the quality of work AND customer service from this company. I found Rightemp on Unilocal (my trusty go-​to site for all reviews) and found this 5 star place on a very chilly 10 degree morning with no working heat in our home. The manager Mike said it may take a few hours but that they would hurry to make it as fast as possible knowing how cold the house was. They were there within the hour! Talk about fast!!!
A professional young man named Alex greeted us and was able to diagnose and jump start our heater that was only 10 years old, within 15 minutes. Unfortunately the fix required a new blower, which was about $ 680 but luckily he was able to find a heater parts store open that he trusted and had discount with and a 1 year free warranty too. Alex called me from the repair shop to let me know the cost and the time needed to repair (about 2 hours).
To wrap up a great service experience with Rightemp, Alex made it so easy for us to pay too via credit card and an emailed my receipt to me. I haven’t had this type of service in I don’t know how long and I hate to be spoiled but I have to say this is an amazing company.
They refused the tip I offered as a policy to the company, but asked if I could just share my experience to people I know and online. OF COURSE I CAN! I’m a huge Unilocaler and love to give praise were it’s due.
TIP: Buy the $ 50 deal online on Unilocal (same day is good)! Saves you money :)
