I’ve been coming to Steve and his crew for about 8 months now. I have a special needs son with an iPad and slippery fingers. He’s pretty hard on his iPad and despite being in a protective case, things happen. He’s replaced glass twice, and then when we were having a problem with the display just winking out for no reason they fixed that too.
I started having problems with my ASUS laptop and he diagnosed the problem for free and fixed it quickly. I have great confidence in their work and he’s always very nice. He goes out of his way to greet us and has great deals on items.
I purchased a VERY nice portfolio for my iPad that has a built in keyboard, leather cover and a stand along with business card slots for an incredible price. My mother has gotten a blue tooth headset for her phone. Both times the prices couldn’t be beat.
I trust his ethics (he doesn’t have a fee for just looking at something to diagnose the problem) and when he couldn’t find a problem he let me know. So, I greatly appreciate the service and the care he takes with my things.

Called around a few places to get pricing on getting the screen replaced on my daughters IPhone 5, they had the best price and to top it off they had a Monday night special of another $ 10 off. I told Anthony, sorry if I didn’t get that right, I be there this evening to get the screen replaced. When I arrived he took the phone to the back counter and started gathering the stuff he needed for the repair, he told me had some
bad news and that was he didn’t have any screens left but told me he would go to there Livonia store and take care of the repair and be done before they closed at 7pm. True to his word he called me at 6:40pm to tell me the phone was done and he was already back at the store. Picked up the phone the installation looked great and everything appears to work good as new. Really appreciate good customer service, it’s hard to find. Give them a try all you can do is save some money.

I called about getting my daughters iphone 5c screen replaced and was told they could do it, come right in. Took only about 8 minutes. Greeted with fast courteous service. Replaced screen promptly. Staff was very friendly and courteous. would definitely recommend.

I’d rather keep quiet

I came here last week to have my cracked screen repaired on my iPhone 5s. Not only were they very professional and fast they charged about $ 50 less than other places I called. I would most definitely come back here and recommend them to anyone looking for cell phone repair. Im not one to write reviews but I was very pleased with the service I received. — A. M

If you want professional and honest work at a great price, this is your place! I just got home from the Livonia shop and found out upon leaving that they opened this Commerce store which is closer to my house! :) It is a shame this place hasn’t been reviewed yet! I left a review for the Livonia location but since it is run by the same people I decided to just copy and paste my review:
There is a reason why this place has 5 stars! My iPhone was having some problems upon leaving the Verizon store and my home button was also broken. I don’t have apple care and would’ve had to pay a crazy amount at the Apple store. I live in West Bloomfield and have at least 5 places that repair phones within a 2 mile radius of my house. I asked friends for recommendations and all of the places they gave me had either horrible or suspicious reviews. In a review for a place near my house, I read about a woman’s bad experience and she said she went to Guru (and was happy with her experience) so I decided to look it up. I called and described my problems to the owner Steve and he said he would be able to fix it. I was skeptical about driving 15 minutes out of my way when I had a bunch of places to go to nearby but I am so glad I did! His price beat all 4 places I called, he fixed my phone in 20 minutes in front of me which is great if you’re concerned about privacy, and to top it off he was super nice! Unlike the other places, the person fixing your phone here does this as a full time job and has real experience. Many of the other places’ reviews have complaints about their phones being in worse condition than when they came in and that is just ridiculous! Guru is doing things right and that is how you bring back happy customers! Also happy to hear that they opened another shop in Commerce because I am definitely telling all my family and friends about this place.
