The food is amazing the service is amazing but it’s very annoying that they are have the television so loud nits always with the soccer they should have music instead it would be more pleasant to hear it hope they change that.

The meals here are deliciously authentic, while the atmosphere makes you feel like your in the dinning room of an old friend. I definitely eat here every chance I can get!

Great food very authentic Central American dishes. Was a lil thrown off by the spicy salsa and chips served, but very well received. You know a good Hispanic restaurant when the salsa is Great!

Came for the pupusas. We got the rice flour ones. My girlfriend ordered a cola champan and i got Salvadorean horchata. Both great. Theres no clear parking on the street but otherwise everything tasted great and the restrooms are clean. Came here for a study break. Will come again.

Had some great breakfast yesterday morning my husband found this place on Unilocal, and decided to give it a try. It was really delicious scrambled eggs with onion and bell peppers with refried beans at the side was cream and cheese. I wish, I would have taken a picture but, I just ate it all up. lol I recommend this place its really good, if you’re looking for good Salvadorian food.

Delicious food. It helps to speak some Spanish. We were in a big party so I got to sample lots of things and everything was good.

This place is absolutely delicious! This review is exclusively just on their pupusas. Who can beat $ 2 pupusas? They’re pretty big and you only need two to fill you up! Cheap and delicious! They make fresh chips to go with your salsa but be careful with their salsa because it’s pretty spicy but super tasty.

Great food. Clean, friendly. If you want to try Central American food this is the place to go. I’ve been to 7 or 8 Guatemala, Nicaraguan, Salvadorian places in the L.A. area and this is a Good neighborhood restaurant.

Loved it! I stumbled upon this place over the fourth of July weekend as I escaped the masses of the Citadel. The location is on an industrial/commercial setting. And by commercial I don’t mean like on a shopping type of block, but rather where there are production and manufacturing businesses. The outside of the restaurant is also not much to look at. But don’t get me wrong– this is not a hole in the wall place on a bad street, nor is it falling down or anything like that. It’s just plain. The inside is nothing extraordinary and looks quite average– like your typical Latin restaurant. BUT as soon as I saw the menu I was intrigued! There was quite a variety of dishes as well as aguas frescas. Stuff I only remember from my childhood. I regret not taking a picture of the menu– you should totally google it and see for your self. I settled on your traditional Bistec Encebollado for $ 11.95(steak with onions, beans, rice, sm salad, and plain pupusas). Presentation was standard, but again, the food… The steak was so savory and the flavor amazing and authentic. The agua fresca was equally delicious. I can’t wait to go back and work my way down the menu.

Looking at this place from the outside … well you almost want to keep driving, but DON’T! Once inside the place is clean nice simple décor and i was even surprised at house nice the restroom looks. Then the Pupusas were great, teh menu is a little confusing if you are not familiar with the food, but once we sorted out that the Pupusa with rice was not rice on the side bu t a different type of Pupusa, we each ordered one of each, and they were great. highly recommend.

Why didn’t we find this place sooner?! This place sure hit the spot when you are craving Salvadorian breakfast! I love their fried plantains! Their service and food are great! and the pricing is affordable! We went on Saturday morning and it wasn’t filled, just 2 tables were occupied. We were seated right away. I ordered the scrambled egg with sausage plated with beans, cream, cheese & avocado. My BF ordered the plantains plated and ordered scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers on the side. It also came with a plain pupusas which were pretty good and fresh! We also ordered a cheese and pork pupusas to try and it was good. Put some of the cabbage on top along with the red sauce. hmmm gooey cheese. Overall experience was great. We would come back here again when we crave for some salvadorian breakfast!

By far the best Salvadorian food I’ve ever tasted. The service here is also outstanding. And is the first place to have café con Leche that I know of in California! I’ve only seen this in the east coast like in Florida. The place is a located in a commercial area, and it looks at bit deceiving, but it’s very beautiful in the inside. They don’t have a parking structure, which can be a problem in busy days, but nevertheless completely worth it! If you looking for authentic, delicious Salvadorian food. YOUHAVETOCHECKOUTTHISPLACE!

The service was poor! I ordered at 1145 and at 1220 I noticed other people who came after me were being served before me. I had to ask for the food to go because I had to be back from lunch at 1230. I received my to go lunch at 1235. I wish I could tell you how good my 1 pupusa was, but I couldn’t enjoy it because I had to scarf it down in my car as I was rushing back to work. I never got complimentary chips and salsa like others did. Never again will I come here nor will I recommend this place to my coworkers!

By far my favorite place to have Salvadorian food. Pupusas(I’ve had every kind, I love them all) and platanos fritos are amazing. Atol de elote is seriously on point. I love everything from here. Staff is always so nice and helpful. Parking kind of sucks since its right across the street from a bar, but I’ve never had an issue finding parking. I come here all the time. It’s a must try. AND! I just found out that they can host parties there. There’s an awesome section with a dance floor and a gorgeous outside patio.

I love Salvadorian food… I came here with my parents and sister on a Friday around 7pm. Once we arrived we were seated immediately. There was maybe two other small groups inside. Once seated, my sister and mom ordered a grilled fish dish to share. My dad just went with a tamale since he wasn’t very hungry and I went with the Chile Relleno plate with ground beef. Once we ordered, they brought out complementary chips and salsa. I LOVED their salsa. It was spicy but oh so good. Definitely addictive. My mom and sister’s grilled fish looked good. It came with some polenta patties, rice, salad, and beans. They loved it and gobbled it all up. My Chile Relleno was okay. It was topped off with some chunks of cheese. It was also served with rice, beans, and a salad. I didn’t like that my chile relleno looked like a big ball of mush. My dad said he liked his chicken tamale. Our total was around $ 40 without tip. The pricing was average. It was about $ 10-$ 14 a plate. I thought the pricing was okay. I rather would have had more of the main dish than the extra sides(like rice, beans, and salad). I’m from Orange County where you can find about any type of food and I thought everything was okay. We ate here because we were in the area and were waiting for traffic to die down and were hungry. As for service, like other Unilocalers had mention, the guy serving us was awesome. He was friendly and made sure all our drinks and chips were refilled. The inside has an intimate vibe with a Salvadorian welcoming feel. The outside can be easily missed and looks a little shady. If I was in the area I would consider coming. However, I wouldn’t drive all the way from where we live to come eat here.
