I found a pinkish/beige colored meat in my phở, which may have been a fun surprise if I hadn’t ordered vegan phở. Steer clear if you’re not a meat eater –_– As far as taste, it was just okay. Not bad, but certainly not GOOD. go elsewhere.

Not as bad as feared by the rating. The food was decent for a food court. The #4 beef phở was supposed to be with meatballs but instead came with all the nasty parts that are so much more interesting than brisket. So, no complaints although i could see others being upset with all those chewy entrails when they were expecting meatballs. Unfortunately the hospitality side of their business is sorely lacking. I know I know it’s a food court but they weren’t hitting my minimum threshold

I come here all the time for catering orders for my office. Great food, great service, always fast and helpful. Emily’s usually the one to take our order and she’s awesome, very friendly. This place is a hidden gem.

Woooow a 16 ounce mocha smoothie for 5.75, you have to be kidding me… and it wasn’t even good at all. Don’t come here unless you want shitty, overpriced food.

Came down with my family for some holiday shopping. Came accross this joint and was like phở at the mall? Well give it a try! Walking in cashier greets us pretty quick, but in a dead kind of tone. Didn’t seem to happy to be at work haha, but who is… any who we order two #4s and eggrolls with a «thai ice coffee» The phở is mediocre in my book. Not too tasty and the sauce is behind their little pick up window along with the napkins. sign of stingy people. So we’re sitting here eating and a customer leaves her food on the table. The cashier takes it outside and tosses it. Next couple leave and their plates are the table. The cook chases him out with a rude tone and says take your plate out side. They should post that somewhere since they have a sit in. which sort of implies they do the dishes or trash. Cook likes to stand behind the glass window and stare at customers as well. Orginally when our food was done he stood their staring at us. I just stared back not sure what he wanted. Then he yells our number after a few minutes of staring. seems like he has a problem imo. Won’t be back. Bad food. Bad service. Rediculous prices for«phở»

I been coming here for years because their chicken phở is not your classic phở you find everywhere else with the chicken just being boil and flavorless. This chicken is grill and actually had a good taste to it and also the soup it self was very tasty. However I only gave it 4 stars because the last 2 times I was there it did not taste as good as before I’m not sure if they change owners or cooks but the taste was dufinetly different.

We ordered #3(beef phở) and #10(noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls) — The phở was ok, it didn’t come with any black or red sauce. One very tiny serving of vegetables — The guy who served us put the fish sauce ON our dry noodles and that was the sign that they don’t know how to do proper Vietnamese food. The sauce drenched the noodles and made it a soupy mess by the time we finished. It was the worst bun thit nuong cha gio I’ve ever had. Later on we saw someone with the same dish, but with sauce on the side(?!) Be careful of this place. We regret that we didn’t read Unilocal beforehand.

The food here is pretty good, however, it costs way too much! Strike 1. My shrimp salad was $ 13.00 and I only got 6(small) shrimp and half of a container of salad. It’s actually pretty ridiculous. When I asked for a cup of water, I was told they don’t have water. Only a bottle of water to be purchased. Strike 2. The prices didn’t quite add up either. On the piece of paper(menu) at the counter it says one thing but when you pay for it, it’s something different. Strike 3. If you’re trying to eat a fairly cheap lunch, this is not the place to eat. You could get the same thing for half the price elsewhere. If it’s not Phở, don’t waste your money.

This place blows. Here’s a tip service restaurants, when you say your suppose to open at a certain time, you don’t come in and take 15 min to get everything rdy then open. You get there early because all info says you officially open and take orders at this time. Then your customer service was horrible. If I wasn’t in such a big mood for banh no before shopping for packing gear I would never have ever come to this place. Lesson learned.

I should have known better than to get Vietnamese at a food court. But I was hungry. After ordering, we were waiting for a good 15 – 20 minutes before the food was ready. Needless to say, at this point I was almost ready to leave without the food and buy food elsewhere. But the food came out, and so we went to sit down for our meal, and well, the entire experience left a whole lot to be desired. The spring rolls were dry, the phở was not great. We dumped a lot of it and had to leave slightly hungry. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, as they looked understaffed. The sweltering heat did not help either, as was the lack of air conditioning while waiting for the food indoors. Oh wells.

Phở at a food court? Seems kinda weird to me, but my family wanted to have phở. I got #8, grilled chicken with noodles and egg rolls. First of all, find a table BEFORE ordering your food. There’s some people that use their empty chairs to use to hold their shopping bags or some people just sit there to chill. There aren’t a lot of tables inside, so you gotta find a table outside. FIND A TABLEBEFOREORDERINGFOOD! Second, the meal comes on a paper plate or plastic bowl. I know that people most likely will eat outside, but make the plates and bowls a bit stronger just in case the food weighs it down. Now, onto the food. The food LOOKED disappointing because it was a small portion. However, I got filled up half way through. AND, their egg rolls were yummy! The wrap isn’t the usual egg roll wrap, but something flakier. My sister said it was paper wrap. Whatever it was, it made the egg roll super yummy! Meat was juicy and wrap was crunchy. The chicken was juicy. It didn’t have much flavor because the sauce on the noodles flavored the chicken. The overall noodles and chicken was good. It wasn’t the best, but it was good. Don’t let looks deceive you because this one did. Looked more disappointing than it tastes. Overall experience was less than mediocre. I would give 2 stars because HELLA people, hella hot, and not enough of tables and chairs. But because the food surprised me, I’ll give it 3 stars.

The food’s okay. I appreciated that the broth of the phở I had was super hot, but other than that, it was an okay. The shrimp with rice was a bit weird. I guess the coconut flavor in the rice was too much with the already flavor-packed shrimp. And it definitely didn’t taste Vietnamese… I would just stick to the phở if you had to get something here.

Addicted to #4. This is my go-to place every time I go to Citadel. I always have a mad craving for #4(Beef and Meatballs) and can never get tired of it. The broth is extra tasty(which means it’s probably not good for my health) and the meatballs are flavorful. It’s hard to compare this place to a regular Phở house because they do not serve the same food. As others have said, the food here is pricey($ 9+ for a medium bowl) but that’s to be expected at an outlet. I must’ve ordered #4 at least 50 times over the years and still can’t get enough of it(weird, I know).

The most horrible customer service ever!!! Never recommend this place to anyone I feel sorry for people who eat here. They waited to serve 10 people ahead of me before they even put meat on the grill for orders I made. Then when I ask for my money back because I’m on the meter the manager yelled at me that he will pay for my parking ticket this place is bull!!!

I’ve had the phở before when it was a lot cooler temps outside and it was really good. Now today for a very late lunch I’m having the beef salad. Really good portion and the meat sizes are good! They don’t skimp! Also had me tai tea with boba! Delish!

My wife and I went to this small restaurant in the food court(Citadel Mall). We walked in and ordered phở, a Vietnamese sandwich and 1 Thai iced tea without even looking at the posted menu price. To our surprise, the total came to be $ 25.41! That is twice of what is normally paid for when you go to a Vietnamese restaurant. My wife told me that it’s okay and just hope that the food is good. To our disappointment… food came out too long and the food itself… OMG their phở does not come close to a phở, the Vietnamese sandwich is like a regular pork sandwich, and the Thai iced tea tasted like it came straight from the bottle that you buy for $ 1.00!!! Don’t ever eat at this place! Yuck! I would give it a zero but that’s not allowed!

I can’t believe this place! I bought egg rolls from this place and they came out looking nothing like the picture. The ends were super burnt and it looked disgusting! I complained and they told me that you should have looked at the picture first and then I said this looks nothing like the picture! Then the same guy said the paper used in the picture and what they really use is different… That makes no sense. And that was the manager! Unbelievable rude service.

This review is just for their Bahn Mi sandwiches. I got the beef bahn mi sandwich yesterday just before shopping, I was super hungry and was a little scared that it might not be as filling and as good as this place I go to in Glendale, just because it’s located in the Citadel Outlet and usually mall foods are ehh. But damnnn girl, it was sooo good. If you’ve never had Bahn Mi sandwiches, today is the day to try one out! They’re so good especially with a side of their own version of fish sauce which is salty/sweet. I like to dip the sandwich in the fish sauce since the bread they come with is usually dry-ish and it’s perrrrfect! It is a little pricier than the place I go to, but I feel like mall food are usually pricier anyway.

So… everyone should know not to order Phở at the food court. But… sometimes you just feel like you need some soup and give in. BADIDEA. NEVERAGAIN. Well actually I haven’t been here in a looong time because… obviously, it was bad. Phở — the broth is sososo bland. Not worth it at all, especially since food court prices are higher. I have to drive all the way to Monterey Park(from Commerce) during lunch to get my phở fix because I refuse to come back here. Spring rolls — Nope. The rice paper breaks, stuffed with mediocre ingredients. Sauce isn’t good either. Drinks — no good. Basically, nothing here is good. Not even service. The last time I was in line accompanying someone. and the line was about 5 – 7 people long. The cashier had to be the one to take orders ANDCOOK even though there was someone else in the kitchen. What’s up with that? How is that efficient??? So basically everyone had to wait about 10mins to order.
