This is the ONLY coffee shop in Commerce. Their coffee is delicious and strong. They sell a variety of lunches including pastas and gyros. The gyro is one of the best I’ve had! The owners always interact with the customers, and I hear the smoothies are amazing. I haven’t tried one yet. The only down-side is the hours: open for breakfast and lunch during the weekdays. They’re not open by the time I leave for work, and they’re closed early.

While I am so happy we have a coffee shop in Commerce, their coffee leaves much to be desired. However, their smoothies are AMAZING! My boyfriend is more than willing to pay the $ 4 in order to get their fresh and tasty smoothies. The food is also really great! As a vegetarian, it can be hard to find food in Commerce. However, they offer many options both in the traditional coffee setting(muffins, bagels) as well as some tasty hummus wraps and pita pizzas. I wish they would offer more of that type of food-because it is seriously awesome. In addition to great food, their service is amazing. The owners work hard to remember customers and always give big smiles. Hit up Pride Coffee for a quick lunch break or during one of their«cultural» evenings where they showcase jazz or poetry.

I’ve never experienced such great customer service. I highly recommend Pride Coffee! We ended up ordering two more items from the menu because the smoothie and fresh fruit were so good. While enjoying the delicious food I watched the two owners interact with other customers and saw the same large smile and outstanding customer service delivered to everyone who walked through the door. One man came back after locating his wallet and the owner repeatedly said, «I wish you would have told me, you could have come back later and paid». From what I’ve read about Pride Coffee, this is common practice: «The first day we did not have the credit card machine up and running, so I told them to come back to pay and every single one of them did.» The entire business was run around the customer and putting their needs first. More businesses need to learn from Pride Coffee and understand how the customer service aspect and completely change an experience.
