I know what you’re thinking– four stars? For a Taco Bell? Why? Why would you care this much about a Taco Bell? But hear me out. Understand that this is, in fact, a Taco Bell. It is a fast food chain restaurant and that will not change. It’s also in a relatively small town without a whole lot else to offer. If you accept this and keep it in mind, hopefully you’ll read this review with the understanding that a four star Taco Bell isn’t the same quality as a four star restaurant. I give it four stars in its context, because for a Taco Bell, this is a good one! The food quality is consistently good here, unlike the problem I have with a lot of fast food. Though sometimes the shells for the Mexican pizzas are a little stale– maybe they just aren’t ordered often and so don’t get replaced much? This is one of our favorite places for midnight munchie runs. The service has always been really good! We come through a lot at night and the people working are always friendlier than the average fast food worker, quick, polite and don’t make many mistakes(and are quick and apologetic about fixing them if they do!) Really this is what made me want to leave a good review, beyond the unhealthy goodness of eating a Doritos Locos taco at one in the morning. They don’t have the apathetic sorrowful glare of many fast food workers. They’re always nice and act like they actually enjoy their job at least a little bit, and really that makes all the difference at a little place like this. On a side note, I’m dying to know what incident resulted in their Fourth of July posting of a sign saying that use of fireworks in the parking lot would result in denial of service. Also once saw some juggalos listening to bad thrash metal watching one of their members twirl fire batons in the parking lot shirtless at ten o’ clock on a Sunday evening… I don’t know what more you could honestly want.
