We were pleasantly surprised by the Thai Hut. We had a party of eight & everyone was very happy with their meal. I had the Drunken Noodles. I ordered it very spicy & it was delicious! The Coconut Soup was very good as well. We will eat here again next time we are in Como.

My husband and I were traveling south from Minnesota. We have been checking out Thai restaurants for a little while now. Hunger hit and we found this little gem online. Although we had passed the exit by a few miles, we doubled back north(a real no-no for my hubs) and we were very glad we did! The food was delicious! We enjoyed the Tom Kah and two types of curry along with a couple yummy beers. The owners were lovely and personable. We will definitely go again — or convince them to move to Minnesota! Enjoy!

Thai Hut is a major addition to the dining scene in Como and the surrounding area, giving the community a bona fide international option. This is not a cookie-cutter Chinese dive masquerading as something more exotic, nor is it in any way watered-down or inferior to Thai restaurants that one finds in a large city. Rather, this is an authentic, completely worthy Thai restaurant that would enrich the dining landscape in any locale, and this is why Thai Hut is such a windfall for the town of Como. I have had three selections from the menu, the Pad Thai, Drunken Shrimp, and Shrimp Fried Rice, and all were very good. Also, the Thai iced tea is delicious and must be tried despite the $ 3 price. Almost all entrees range from $ 8-$ 15 and portions are roughly medium-sized. All in all, it is a good value. The restaurant is located in a self-standing small brick building located across the street from the main business strip. The couple who own and run it, the wife/cook from Bangkok and the husband/host/waiter from San Diego(their story is very interesting and unlikely), have done wonders with it. The interior features charmingly dimmed lighting and pretty wood floors and bamboo stalks lining the walls. There even appears to be a small bar. It is amazing how much ambiance it has given the modest structure. Outside, despite the limited space, there is a small patio with a few tables. Parking could not be more convenient, right in front of the front door.

What a great place! The atmosphere was zen and the food was amazing. The Coconut Soup was my favorite! We split 2 entrees(Thai Pad & Panang Curry) both were delicious and then finished with dessert! Will definitely be back!
