Louis Burgers

This place has some pretty good burgers, I got a bacon & avocado burger while waiting to do my behind the wheel test and ugh I love it! Some of my friends say there food is greasy but I didn’t think so. Ill definitely be coming back!

I’m not gonna lie this place is bomb but the cashiers are so rude. The owner should really look in to looking for cashiers with customer service. You walk in and they don’t even greet you they just look at you like ok what do you want. Honestly I think twice every time I come here, all I want is good burger but end up leaving disappointed because of the service.

Food is great! Service not good at all. The pregnant girl at the drive thru window is rude, not for a second did she make me feel like I want to come back.

This have always been a favorite burger stands of mines. If you haven’t had the chilli fries, your missing out. One of the best ways to have them is with pastrami. The chilli is by far the best around.
The place is always Crowded.
I love that they stay open really late.
Down sides:
The customer service could be a little more friendly but they turning out orders fast.
There’s always someone or multiple people in the parking lot bagging for money. I personally don’t like that.
If you pay with debt. You have to pay to the next 20 dollars. I hate that… and they charge 50cebt. So if your order comes up to 16.50. They charge you 20 and give you 3dollars back. And the biggest around the building know this.
I was in the drive thru and was asked for change I said I didn’t have any and I was using a card. He replied that I was going to get charge back. I go inside now …

So I have never complained about this place. But today I wanted some steak tacos so I ordered four. They are usual loaded with meat and this time they where not loaded they had like quarter of the amount they usually have. I’m soo disappointed I love this place but it has failed me.

I don’t care how much of a food snob I become.
A chili cheese fries (easy chili) with a strawberry soda from here will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart and belly. as will fried zucchini. as will pastrami anything. my God the pastrami.

All my YES. I love this Louis Burgers. The OG of all the Louis Burgers. So many late night shenanigans w/​the fam including getting lost in a ghetto labyrinth of dead ends/​narrow alleys (cuz one time the main street to get there was closed off by the cops) just to get some of their bomba** chili cheese fries. GET EM. Only $ 6.summin and can feed you, ya momma, and ya baby.
…Honestly, you can just go all out and make ‘em chili cheese pastrami fries. (or even buy a large side of pastrami by itself because it’s bamb too). $ 9 summin tho. js.

Warning: strange characters may or may not appear while you’re in the drive-​thru (one time there was this random old man who went up to the car and just stared through me to my soul) but that’s part of the fun.

Louis is close to my home and I enjoy eating here every now and then. Their food (although delicious) is pretty heavy so you can only eat there every now and then.
I get the chili cheese fries and they ate extremely satisfying. They serve them in Styrofoam take out boxes and the food is packed in to fill up the box. They are not stingy with their portions. My only sad points are 1) I think they they switched their cheese so it doesn’t melt as well as the other one, and 2) the drive thru line can be slow, added on the parking lot already being limited.

OmGee! Their pastrami sandwiches are the BOMB! Good & Friendly service. Very prompt with my order. The place was clean. My food was seasoned, and i like the fact that they repeated ny order back to me. If ur ever in the hood, u should go!

This place never fails ! Cheeseburger with leaf lettuce, fries extra crispy and two a thousand island ! The bomb !!

I grew up on their burgers and fries. It’s nice to see that even years after their quality has not dipped. If you can try out the chili cheese fries or carne asada tacos. Their burgers are what you would expect from a local burger place.
The only reason why I don’t give it a full 5 stars is because of their drive thru. The menu is so full with items that it seems daunting to order if you’re new to the place. Also the drive thru takes forever. Expect a long wait if you decide to take the drive thru. Other than that, try the place!

This place is right around the corner from my job and we order from here every once in a while. The line for drive thru is always long so we phone order and pick up inside. I usually don’t get much but the fries. The fries here are amazing!!! They have a great amount of seasoning and they’re perfectly cooked and super fluffy. I love the burgers too and don’t even get me started on the pastrami. I love up in Montebello so this is the only Louise burgers I know of and this was the first place j tried it from. We have something similar in Montebello and it’s the exact same thing. Love the food and the staff is usually friendly.

We were hungry and in the area decided to stop at this location, by my surprise the drive thru was packed, so we decided to wait, their was a worker there taking orders as we wait, I asked if the had an specials, she said no, everything was sold separately, which I didn’t mind, Burger were delicious or maybe was that I was hungry, anyways when I pulled up the lady in the register tells me my total, I handed her my debit card and she hands me change, what in heck, she charged my debit card $ 10 plus a dollar fee, instead of my actual amount, a couple days later I found out why, she withdrew money from my account I guess from an atm they had their, I wouldn’t know how they did that if they didn’t had my pin, my bank also charged me fees as well cuz of this incident so I would recommend you to take cash to this burger joint, I will definitely be back but this time I will be taking cash

The drive-​thru line is ridiculous, and worth it I swear. Order the pastrami fries and thank me later.

Everyone in Compton and surrounding cities know where to go for a good burger. They have the best chili-​cheese fries I’ve ever had at a burger joint. Be bad, don’t just go with a cheese burger, go with the bacon-​avocado-​cheese burger. :-D

This place has been a family favorite of ours ever since I was a child. It’s located across the street from my moms house so we have this delicious gem at a very close distance.
You haven’t tried chili cheese fries until you’ve had Louis Burgers chili cheese fries! They are made to perfection. Warm chili and a generous amount of deliciously melted cheese over a generous portion of crispy fries. Mouth watering! You must also try their strawberry milkshake it’s amazing.
Their drive thru line is almost guaranteed to be long. I usually eat inside or order to go. In my past experiences I’ve been attended with a welcome and a smile but today I was attended by woman who seemed like she didn’t want to be there. That’s a huge no-​no! But in all the years that I’ve been here this is the first time I’ve ever had an experience such was this one so hopefully this will be the first and last time.
It’s a must visit place. Parking is ample, prices are pocket friendly, and the food is delicious and comforting.

Never disappoints, never get tired of this place! Everything is so good! Best chili cheese fries! If you’re in the area I definitely recommend this spot for food at anytime of the day!

Burgers are terrific how ever there service is super bad wouldn’t come back they charge 65.00cents for a mini ranch what a joke

Authentic burger joint in the heart of Compton. Newly remodeled this place looks great !! Staff is bilingual and very friendly. I had the chix salad — it was so good!
4 Fresh chix breast cutlets … Oh my! This one salad was so big It will take me all week to finish it.
Chix was very tender and cooked to perfection. Not dry at all! Veggies were nice and crisp. Ur choice of dressing

This has been a go to place for burgers and fries since I was a child. I love Louis Burgers!
Like the other thousands of burger stands here in L. A…this place serves up the usually cheese burgers, fries, chili cheese fries, pastrami sandwiches, milk shakes, etc. The thing that keeps me coming back is the chili. I don’t know what it is about there chili but it is damn good stuff. Not only is the flavor great but majority of the chili is pure meat which is a plus. With that being said, the chili cheese fries are my favorite here but I do switch up from time to time with a pastrami burrito or bacon cheese burger… assuming I’m not order chili cheese fries to go along with it.
Not much more to say but to say Louis is awesome.
