Nestor’s Tacos

The pastor tacos here are filled with so much flavor that I was salivating just from the smell. The taste was great, coating my tongue in oily goodness.
The real win here, though, was the service. The two working the truck were amazingly friendly, answering all my questions about the food. As I was grabbing the toppings for the tacos, the cook knocks on the truck window, asking me if I wanted freshly grilled onions. Super friendly people with amazing food, 5 out of 5!

super sketchy area that they are set up. aside from that, they have really good tacos. chorizo is really good from here, and the horchata is super delicious

First time trying this taco truck and it was all good. Reminds me of tacos TJ! Lol. A bit greasy but it’s all flavor! Try them for yourself!!!

Found this place here on Unilocal.My dad was really in the mood for tacos and wanted something that wasn’t all the «same». We had to get a couple of tacos to try out. Pastor was amazing. Suadero was mind blowing, they make it like carnitas but it’s beef. The meat was so tender and juicy, every bite was heaven. My dad also loved the guacamole salsa that they had, he says it reminds him of TJ tacos.

I’ve been eating at this spot, wayyyy before they even bought the big truck they have now, i’m talking about 7 years ago!.. this is real food. If you are hipster or vegan, this is not the place for you, please do us all real men a favor and stay away!!! This is for the people that really appreciate food, who are not afraid of eating their tacos next to the lady that is selling boot legged DVD’s… awesome food, great prices and they are open late!!!

We had our company event for around 40 people catered by Nestor’s earlier this year in May and food and service was great. Everybody enjoyed very very much… so much that we are having Nestor’s cater again next week in November.

I’ve been coming here for about 9 years now. Ever since they started inside that house where they parked, to a little taco grill on the sidewalk and now to their cool trailer… they never seize to amaze me. I eat tacos all over LA and know some pretty good spots… If you like La Taqueria in San Francisco, if you like Guisados or El Chato taco Truck in LA, this spot will rock your world for tacos that are bomb and $ 1. 25. They marinate their meat just right and their meat is always tender and never old and chewy. I’ve brought like 20+ friends here and they all rave about it. It’s like a hidden gem of the outskirts of LA. They are closed on Wednesdays… Oh I almost forgot… Their salsa bar is legit. Grilled onion and jalapeños, pickled carrots, radish, cucumber, onion and cilantro, like 4 bomb salsas… And if you’re lucky they might give you some grilled pineapple from the AL Pastor thingy that spins. Straight up bomb. Check it out. … Oh and they CATER too.

Straight bomb! The meat here is super bomb. This spot actually have salsa that packs a punch. I would say it’s definitely going to be on the top of my list when I want some street tacos

This taco truck has some of the best tacos I’ve had in all California. I’ve tried many taco trucks and street vendors and these are top notch. I really like there suadero, chorizo and pastor tacos. I haven’t tried the others. The grilled onions are delicious. The staff is all cool with great customer service. There red and green sauces are really good too. I’m going to return to try the other meats, but I’ve been hearing good things about the lengua and buche meats. My only issue with this place is theres no tables or chairs to sit at, but that’s because it’s a taco truck. All I can say is please check this place out.
