Winchell’s Donut House

I’m just here to update my review based on customer service. One of the lady’s in here working morning shift be out of it! We never order our food with her because she’s usually the one on the side making the orders but today she wasn’t. I mistakenly ordered a bagel with ham instead of sausage so I corrected myself before they made it but as I was telling her, she was completely lost on what I was saying. Why? I’ve notice she forgets what she’s doing a lot. My boyfriend then orders another bagel with cream cheese and jelly so she goes and tells the lady making it that he only wants cream cheese. Thankfully we heard her so he asked her «it’s with jelly right?» And she’s just dozing off looking outside with a lost look then says yes. When we were done ordering we see she goes with the lady making the bagels and tells her in a low voice oh he wants jelly. Yeah, exactly! They don’t forget to charge any extra ingredient for our bagels but some how the ingredient gets forgotten and we don’t realize it until we’re home. We never complain about it even though its happened several times and it’s always the same lady messing up our orders. She needs to be more attentive and wake up before clocking in.

Customer service is horrible! Don’t come in here, especially during night shifts. Despite the fact that my girlfriend lives by here and warned me about the bad service here, we decided to give it another try. We both showed up on a Tuesday night, July 7^th around 11pm. We waited in line for a few minutes, while the worker ignored us… I wouldn’t have mind if he was courteous enough to at least say he’d be right with us. However, he continued minding his own business. After waiting for too long I decided to knock on the window to show my presence – but the worker yelled with a extremely rude attitude and said «can’t you see I’m busy!» (in Spanish). After that, I got very angry and decided to wait just to ask this jackass for his name. So if any of you you encounter a guy name Jose working just walk away instead… He has the worst service ever! I haven’t had any bad service like that EVER. Please consider this review before you come here.

First of i need to say it was perhaps one of the worst customer service exprience i’ve had in years. Bad attitute towards their customers. They dont know how to make sandwich and for sure noone thought them a well manner.
You should avoid this place and have ypur donut or food somewhere els.

I came for the WiFi but left because of the coffee. first i order a glazed chocolate and an apple stuffed doughnut but before i got to place my order the cashier takes the order of the woman behind me. The glazed was doughy and salty and the chocolate had little flavor. The apple was slightly better but it could have been filled a little more and there were pieces of apple seed casings inside that were hard. the coffee was slightly better than mop water and the mocha creamer I added was milk at best. as I’m wrighting this a fruit fly flew into my cup, that leaves me to believe they don’t close the doors well in the back. after I got my order I asked for the password to the WiFi they claimed they had no WiFi i said «but i see it on my scanner do you not have the password?» they said no and sorry, the employees were unprepared. The main network was password protected, I could log onto the guest network but there was no connectivity so I’m posting this using my cell network. I watched as they bagged up 3 boxes of doughnuts for a man and the bag was stained with glaze and crumbs. I overheard a customer exclaim that her green pineapple celery orange juice had too much foam, and i was saddened to hear they couldn’t provide a customer with change for 20 as busy as they were in the 40 min I’ve been here. it’s like they don’t give a crap about anything. now I’m here with apple core pieces stuck in my throat and I’m too grossed out to wash it down with this nasty fly coffee. I wish I could leave no stars. I know it’s just a doughnut shop but I’ve seen better customer service at mom and pop places. I can’t wait for Dunkin Doughnuts to open up next year. if they open one here they would kill the competition. at least the workers were friendly but the management sucks. enclosed are pictures of the dirty floor.

mmm ham and cheese usually is what i get the guys at work.
I usually get a hearty avocado cheese with eggs for breakfast on a bagel :) and nice warm vanilla cappuccino
customer service here is excellent and service you till you pay :)
