I have to say that great customer service can totally change your attitude!!!
I came here on ¹¹⁄₄ and I ordered the combo meal. My friend came with me and she had ordered some wings. I got my order at a time timely matter, but my friends order took a long time. We were getting frustrated, I know i was.
But our attitude totally changed and our frustration completely went away, when that employee had the best customer service. I cannot believe that i did not get get his name to praise him for providing excellent service. I went around 1ish if that makes a different, When someone does their job in such an awesome way like he did, it makes me want to go back.

Worst service ever, the cashier was rude, they need to choose wisely on who they hire because I’ve been living in Compton my whole life and even the most ghetto person tries more to give great customer service than a regular young hire

Their food is ok, only problem is that the cashiers are not good with directions. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE and you will be fine.

Worst service ever, I was so excited to eat but the cashier was so rude and more eager to eat with her boyfriend than to take my order. And to top it all off the food took forever to come out. I will never return to this place ever.

Finally a Yoshinoya in Compton. well I have been coming to this place since they opened and so far it’s been good. The service is good and the restaurant is always clean.

Food was good but it can be a little more warm. By the time I got back to work 10min drive the food was cold

The side salad comes with hidden valley ranch dressing (i chose Blue Cheese) and the salad is kick ass! very filling and worth the price.
The menus are all digital, the store is clean. I mean immaculate (of course they just opened) the staff is friendly and pretty quick. Prices are decent. I believe I paid $ 9 or a lil more for a large pollo bowl (which is actually a sqaure take out container) a side salad and a drink. They dont have fruit punch, which sucks, but they have pink lemonade, sprite, strawberry, rootbeer, coke and ice tea i think.
The one thing I would change is the noise level. The radio is too damn loud! LOWER the freakin sound, I want lunch not to dance in the club! It’s an odd station to play in Compton too. One person commented that it was «white people music» whatever ever that is haha. I said I listen to this music its fine. They were playing Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, Pearl Jam and that was it while I was in there.
Will def go back and everyone should try it. Nice to see various chains coming to Compton and give us a variety of foods to choose from that are somewhat healthier.

UPDATE:
I love supporting new businesses, specially here in Compton. But enoughs, enough.
I was told I needed to PRINT out the Check In offer for it to be valid. WHAT?!
I’ve had issues with the check in offer every time I come here. They offer a 15% discount, but their register only has a 10% discount. It’s alway ALWAYS a hassle.
That won’t be an ISSUE any more. You’ve lost a customer. Good luck, you’ll need it.
