In short: NOT WORTH IT, skip it
I’ve been to quite a bit of fireworks. I try to find the best one in the area, but also don’t want to fight a million people.
Concord seemed like a decent choice– close to BART, first event in 2014. It promised not to disappoint you…
In short, it was disappointing, disappointing, disappointing.
Pros: Mt. Diablo High School is close to BART.
Cons: BAD fireworks. Rarely, there were two fireworks in the sky. Fireworks were bad quality, too– Not just the choreography, but individually, they looked cheap and crappy.
Few selection of food vendors, and ridiculously long wait times. Other than this horrible «crappy-​bread-​with-​nacho-​cheese-​inside» Zombie Bread or something like that (avoid it!!!), 20+ minutes wait for everything.
