As supermarkets go, I am a fan of the no frills savings. This location doesn’t disappoint in bottom line savings. As long as you temper your expectations to include very long lines and bags you pay for(feels like you’re in Europe). Oh and they charge a quarter for use of their shopping carts to ascertain they’re returned rather than left all over the premises. Great parking lot area. Well lit, clean and plenty of spots. Friendly staff, but they are stretched thin. Fun close out section. Terrific seasonal items. Eclectic household or outdoor finds. Surprisingly good wine section. A word about the patrons here: Oh, and because you may be courteous enough to let someone with a single or a few items go ahead of you, don’t expect the same courtesy from the Aldi’s ilk. Many of the patrons at this location seem to be first generation immigrants. It seems many have yet to embrace those little courtesies that gracious people often afford one another. Finally, bring a case quarter for a cart! Don’t come here searching for hard to find items. Don’t forget your personal shopping bags. And leave those pesky expectations of neighborly courtesies or reasonable lines at home, and come to Aldi’s on I 29 in Concord.
