Bear Attack

This place is whimsically charming. There is a warmth and feeling of comfort about this place, and the owners of Bear Attack. I discovered Bear Attack through the official Steiff website’s retailers page.
The owners are wonderful. I’ve mainly purchased from Adi, who has gone above and beyond finding special bears for me as gifts, and also to add to my treasured collection of Steiff’s. She’s extremely well informed of all the upcoming Steiff products (past and present), and you just know that when you purchase a Steiff from Bear Attack, you will find out the history of that particular piece. I love going to this store — there are many vintage pieces that are just so amazing to look at while you’re shopping around.
The store is small, but you won’t be disappointed. For as small as it is, I find myself seeing something new every time I turn at an angle!
For me, this store is definitely worth the drive.
The other Bear Attack location is in Kiel, Germany (same owners), so if the Livermore, CA location doesn’t have what you’re looking for, chances are it may be at their Kiel, Germany store.
Business hours say closed Mondays, open Tues-​Fridays, however, they are open Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only, you just need to call ahead of time.
