This place has gone way way down in customer service. New owners doesn’t mean better in this case far worse than when Gene owned this restaurant. I told the order taker 2x, They Didn’t even bother to listen to me I ordered a cheeseburger only mayo and tomatoes and they put enough lettuce on my burger to make a side salad… WTF? WONTBEBACK!!!

Best burger is the first place I ever ate, out of moving truck the day I moved from LA. The burgers and fries are awesome, they exceed the quality of the various fast food chains on this corner. I ate here frequently when I lived in concord. The pastrami burger with bacon is awesome. It’s a relaxed dine– in experience and fast to-go. They have a charbroil grill in house that makes everything taste like great BBQ. The veggies and toppings are fresh and everything is made to order quickly. Can’t beat crispy, on point fries and a perfect pastrami burger. Definitely the best spot in this shopping complex

Probably the best burger joint in concord. Get the added avocado, it’s so good. They cook infront of you. The ingredients are fresh and the fries are cooked when ordered.

Basic burger ohhh i mean«best» burger. Im always dragged here by my boss. Your Very bland basic typical nothing special burger. Incorrect burger cut for lettuce, i felt i was eating a sandwich rather than a burger, Cheap 10 cent buns made it feel your protein was slipping out from one side and veggies on your end. i believe their fries are frozen precut the ones you probably get from costco or restaurant depot. Paid 10 for a chicken burger and fries :( In in out is wayyyyy better and cheaper than this place.

The food here is good. The cleanliness is not. I shouldn’t get a sticky menu and table. That is what I got the last time I ordered here. You get four stars because my wife loved the food. We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It was delicious. One of the best burger joints in town. Much better than Monument Grill!

This place should be called ok burgers as i left with a meh attitude. Very overpriced for what you get. 2 burgers 2 drinks, fries & onion rings for $ 26? Could have gotten In & out for a lot less and better food… although the fries here were the bomb. Crispy and good. Onion rings tasted frozen and were bad. Burger… meh. Theres much better food than here although the place is clean and quick but not good enough for me to ever come back.

This is my second time here(first time was a year ago), and I actually haven’t eaten my food yet, I’m waiting inside for it to be done. But I noticed that one of the girls rang someone up, touched cash then immediately started touching the burgers and wrapping them up. She should be washing her hands before she gets back to food after handling money. I’m pretty disgusted. Don’t you learn that in the FOODHANDLERS card you need to get to work in the food business. Also one free ranch then the rest are .50 cents, if I got 2 burgers then I should get 2 free. But whatever. I just got my burger, headed home now to eat it. I’ll update with a review on the taste. 30 mins later. I ate my burger. Cheeseburger: was pretty bland and generic, the patty was a let down for sure, I loved the bun and the crisp it had but that’s the only good part about the burger. Onion rings: weren’t hot at all, and flimsy, do they premake the onion rings in the beginning of the day and use those all day? Fries: despite other people’s bad reviews on the fries, I actually enjoyed these, maybe a little more salt and they tasted great to me. Kind of like a classic fry you would eat at a fair or carnival, with ketchup they were perfect to me.

For the longest time I thought this place was closed, but today when I was looking for another place in the same shopping center I saw that their neon signs were on, so I gave it a try. I didn’t want to eat a lot, so I just got a basic hamburger(1⁄3 pound) and milk. I was not at all disappointed. The burger reminded me of what I got as a kid, before the ubiquity of McDonald’s and their clones. The burger was big and the condiments were plentiful and tasty. There are a couple of things that could be improved, though. First, the«Charbroiled» burger was over-charred, so several bites tasted more burnt than charred. Along with that, the burger itself was pretty dry, but after a few bites, when I got to the majority of the condiments, that was resolved. This might be personal, though, because I like my burgers on the rare side. Second, the décor could use some work to bring it up to five stars for me. It’s clean and well lit, which is good, but it doesn’t seem to really have an identity. The neon made it seem like they were going for classic drive-in/hamburger joint, but that was as far as they went. Third, they could probably«sell» their products better. For instance, they have milk shakes, but nothing to indicate what kind they have or anything to make customers think, «Wow! I want one of those.» Only a single line on their menu that says they have milk shakes and the price. So, it could be better, but none of those things are really deal breakers to me. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly as well as helpful and patient with me as misinterpreted the menu. In addition, I was pleased that they toast their buns, which really helps them hold up while the burger is eaten. The basic burger is $ 5(plus tax) and more for some variations, which may seem high to some but I’ve found it to actually be a bit below average for a place like this in this area. So the price is kind of a sign of the times. Now that I know this place is open I definitely plan to be back

Very good grilled hamburgers. Not greasy at all, so you don’t feel like crap after(i.e. Five Guys). I would definitely go again if I were in the area and wanted a burger. Too bad they don’t have a drive through window, because I would definitely go here over In & Out since it is healthier.

Almost 10 $ for a double burger and small fry that tasted like absolutely nothing. I’ve eaten lots of burgers in my life but none that tasted like nothing! The beef was def previously frozen, the buns are twice the size of the patties. And the French fries worst I have ever tasted! They def buy the cheapest meat and frozen fries and charge a premium for them! .99c bag of frozen fries baked at home tastes 1000x better. Sorry for the negativity but paying $ 10 for a burger you expect something much, much, much better. Please change your name to «ok-burger» or «disappointing-burger» Thanks!

Edible. Not bad but definitely not the best! Burger patty is obviously a frozen patty had a strange after taste. Bun is good, burgers are big and seemed like fresh produce. Pretty clean inside. People working here are very nice. We probably Would not return, Just not our taste. But others inside seemed to like their food.

My family loves this place. I usually order their chicken sandwich and my kids eat the cheeseburger and I often take bites of their burger because it’s so juicy!

I’m a burger snob(that’s my problem) and I’ve been here a bunch of times. I never go for anything«fancy»; just a cheeseburger and some fries and I’m good. Can’t add on much to the other reviews. Oh, the fries are great. Really. I’m not much of a fries guy but these are really good.

Four and a half stars for my Best Burger today. This was the first time I’ve been here in probably four years. I remember it was a decent burger but not impressed enough to make a trip again. Today was different. I had the Best Burger($ 6.69 plus tax) and a small drink($ 1.30 or so). Waiting for the food, I wasn’t impressed with the layout of the restaurant. Lots of space between seats but tables needed to be bussed. I cleaned my own table and waited about three minutes before my order was called. For the price, this was a good sized burger. There wasn’t a ton of pastrami but enough so you could taste it with every bite. The melted cheese helped to keep the pastrami in place. The patty was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The lettuce, tomatoes and onion were all very fresh and plentiful, so I felt pretty good about eating this ginormous burger since it had a fair amount of veggies. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and size of the burger for the price. I would call this my new favorite burger joint in the Concord/WC area.

Our friend Valerie told us about this place a long time ago — it’s literally a mile from our home, and she was shocked we’d never gone in. Last weekend I decided to change that! We had our bunny in the car, having just left from a vet appointment, but found shaded parking in the big lot in front of the place. Even though it was lunch time, I was surprised to see how busy they were. A couple people stood in line, and all but two tables were seated. We ordered at the counter. I had a veggie burger and husband had two corn dogs. Also each ordered a chocolate shake. They don’t make their own veggie burger patties, but the one they served was really good! Lots of carrots and spinach — and very tasty! The bun it was served on was kind of big, and the shredded lettuce made a mess, but I ate almost the entire burger. Added jalapenos to it for $ 0.35 and spiced it up! Casey really enjoyed his crispy corndogs and had no trouble eating each of them. We both thought the chocolate shakes needed a little more chocolate, but they were good too. It was cheap and fast, and really good food.

Best burger is a lovely little place. The food is decent quality but large portions. The people who run the joint are extremely nice. I enjoy getting the cheeseburger & milkshake. Their milkshakes are amazing. If you want to support a local business this is defiantly a good spot to check out for lunch!

So, is Best Burgers truly the best? No. But I’ll say that they are above average. I popped in yesterday afternoon around lunch time after running some errands. I got the«best burger» which is a normal burger topped with pastrami, and a side of fries and a large coke. Total was around $ 10. Service I felt was a little below average as the girl that was helping me couldn’t seem more disinterested. Perhaps it was because the world cup was on, who knows. Anyway, food came out pretty quick, I would say about 10 minutes. When I started eating, I noticed the patty was juicy and flavorful, toppings were fresh, but the pastrami tasted a little dry. Still very edible however. Fries were the typical pre-frozen fare, however they were done very well with just the right amount of salt. Anyway, if I was in the area again, I would go back.
