I hired Bowtie Bakery to make cupcakes and cookies for my daughter’s baby shower. Not only was the presentation of the cupcakes and cookies so beautiful, the taste was more than I had hoped for. I worked with Tyler via telephone since I was living on the West Coast. It was important to get details correct without my being there in NC during the planning process. Tyler nailed every detail of what I requested and he also delivered the amazing confections himself. So many guests who attended my daughter’s baby shower that day have continued to buy cupcakes from Bowtie Bakery which says a lot! Best bakery in town… hands down! Highly recommend!

These are truly outstanding cupcakes. They have a great variety of flavors, many of which are not just run of the mill bakery standards. I have occasionally picked a flavor that was a little drier, or seemed stale, but this is a really rare occurrence and overall this bakery is my go to in Concord when I want cupcakes. The shop itself is really small, so it’s not a reliable bet if you re looking to sit down inside, although that’s really just luck of the draw.

This was my first time there but it was a nice experience. Busy street, lots of traffic the day I went. I almost passed the place, it’s in a little shopping area off the road. You have to keep aware of your surroundings or you’ll pass by the place. The cup cakes are perfect if you have a sweet tooth. Many variations with fancy names.

We bought a cake for our granddaughter’s 3rd Bday and asked for a creative«Cat in the Hat» theme. The cake was an adorable hat-shaped cake that tasted amazing. So very yummy!!! A definite winner!

I was looking for a good cupcake shop in the area and stumbled upon this gem! I read a few of the Unilocal reviews online saying that the cupcakes were good but dry, but I decided to go for it and try it out anyways. Let me tell ya, I am so glad I did! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the cutest set up! The set up and décor made me feel like I’d walked into a Pinterest board! Even my toddler was pointing to their chalkboard wall and excited to see the cupcakes. The cupcakes are arranged very well and are the first thing you notice when you walk up to the counter. The owner was really great and helpful and I could tell by the look of the cupcakes and shop, that he really loves what he does which makes all the difference! I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake and wow! It was so moist and amazing! I bought them around 2 pm and they were still moist and yummy! Each cupcake is decorated deliciously and you can taste and see that the baker put all his love and joy into that piece of deliciousness! I will definitely be returning here for sweet treats for my family and you bet I’ll recommend this place!

Best cupcakes ever! All fresh made daily. Never the same thing 2 days in a row. Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. Try the Hummingbird cupcake. It is a combination of banana bread and tropical flavors with homemade cream cheese icing! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!

Was really looking forward to trying out this new cupcake bakery. Unfortunately. the experience wasn’t pleasurable at all. We walked in wanting something sweet and walked right into a teen birthday party. Had to maneuver our way through the crowd to get to the counter to place our order. The cupcakes looked tasty so we order a Lemon Sundrop Poundcake Cupcake($ 3), a Chocolate Mint Cupcake($ 3) and a Cookies & Cream Rice Crispy Treat($ 2). We got out as fast as we could due to the loud birthday party. Got home and pulled out our treats. This is where more disappointment continued. I will admit the Lemon Sundrop cupcake was tasty, however the Chocolate Mint cupcake was extremely dry and the Cookies & Crème Rice Crispy treat was even drier. I have never had a dry, crunchy rice crispy treat that crumbled in my hands. It was terrible. Needless to say, we will not be return customers. $ 3 for dry cupcakes and $ 2 for even drier marshmallow treats just want cut it for us. Save your money and go over to Dough in Afton Village. Fresh desserts and breads that aren’t dry.

I was shocked, beautifully decorated we bought 9 cupcakes at 3.00 each not cheap different flavors, and we had to throw them out they were so dry inedible, the orange dreamsicle was burnt on the bottom, It was the talk of my party not in a good way, maybe the were not fresh because it was sat afternoon, but to sell cupcakes this dry and burnt this bakery wont last, what a shame.

This is a delightful bakery in Concord. It has a cute atmosphere, but there are only a few seats so you may want to place a to-go order. The staff is extremely friendly. A young lady took my order. She smiled the entire time, provided an overview of the products and made several recommendations. It was a pleasure interacting with her. I was completely(and pleasantly) overwhelmed by all the flavors. They have lots of jumbo cupcakes available from the display case. Each one is $ 3. Each day they designate one flavor as the«cupcake of the day» and it’s only $ 2.50. I purchased three flavors: the cupcake of the day(which was cookies and cream), the strawberry lemonade and the vanilla. They were beautiful, fresh and delicious. In addition to the jumbo cupcakes they will also make regular size cupcakes or mini cupcakes if you place an order for at least a dozen regular or two dozen mini cupcakes. On my next visit I plan to try the cheerwine cupcake! What a great local tribute! They also have an Arnold Palmer(sweet tea and lemonade) cupcake that I can’t wait to try. They certainly know how to keep a southern girl coming back for more :-) I think this may become my go-to bakery in Concord. It’s a little off the beaten path, but it’s worth the effort.

Whenever I work in Concord I always make sure to stop by the bowtie! The cupcake flavors are almost guaranteed to offer a few off the wall selections as well as the conventional chocolate/vanilla, whatever… only complaint is sometimes cupcakes are a little dry, maybe leftover from day before. Reasonable prices though, great little place.

Love love love this bakery. Tyler is fantastic to work with and his creations are both beautiful and tasty. Hope to have more happy occasions to order for, but always willing to stop for one of his cupcakes when visiting from DC. Thanks again!!!

I’ve enjoyed several cupcakes from this delightful bakery. The Arnold Palmer was asbolutely amazing. The sweet tea cake was not too sweet — a perfect offset to the lemonade icing. I’m drooling just thinking about it again. The cherry pinapple was also out of this world — as is the raspberry lemon. You really can’t go wrong here. The owner, Tyler, is very nice — providing ice water for customers who decide to stay for their treat — something I recommend doing as the shop is lovely. This bakery is a can’t miss!
