THEIRSUBSAREHUGE!!! And the ladies working there LOVE the food, and have no problem telling you about the‘pastas, the dishes… the hot mess of everything that people consider the kitchen sink! We should have shared! Because those subs are HUGE! Bread is fresh, toothsome, lovely! I had a very simple caprese. Nothing ordinary about it — its a classic, very well done!!!

Still the best pizza in Concord. A lot of folks swear by the older places but if you want GOOD pizza then Comella’s is the only game in town.

Quite simple, really. Fantastic food — lousy customer service. Great pizza. Great sandwiches. People behind the counter should be better trained. Food really is great, however.

This used to be our favorite place to eat, as the food was always wonderful. We’ve been going for 4 years. We always order the cheese pizza and the homemade fusilli with marinara sauce. The last few visits, the pizza has been undercooked(even when I ask for it to be made golden brown on the edges but not burnt). They have also changed their marinara sauce. It used to be perfect. Now it is too sweet. The crust of the pizza has also changed. I’m not sure if they are using cheaper ingredients. Their pizza chef definitely needs to be trained to time the pizzas in the oven.

I purchased a $ 19 pizza there yesterday. It was tasteless. I thought maybe it was just me… but when my husband came home and tried a slice he agreed that it was tasteless. What I can’t figure out is how a pizza covered in grilled chicken, peppers, onions and mushrooms could lack taste. In fact, i tried to give my husband the leftover slices this morning to take to work for lunch and he didn’t want it. In addition, one of the staff behind the counter was so busy constantly gabbing(loudly) to the other staff member. Another customer came up to the counter and she barely looked at the woman as she quickly handed her a takeout box.

I visited here twice during a trip to Concord and Boston in 2015. Pizza was delicious, and we catered it for a small party with some friends near the end of the trip. Over a weeks period our group went here twice, and it was appetizing both times.

One of the better Italian food chains in Massachusetts. You can get a large cheese pizza for six bucks and it is pretty good pizza too. Comparable to Papa Gino’s if that gives you an idea, definitely better than the majority of Greek places in New England. Sandwiches are excellent and during fall and winter order one of their«messes», great comfort food and large portions. Dining in you can listen to Sinatra and Co.

Food is great and so affordable. Person behind the counter should not be service industry. Terrible!!! Felt bad asking her to take my order.

My family had been using Comella’s for take out for a long time. For the past several visits to the Concord Center location, they have made a mistake with our order every single time. I’m not sure if I’ll go back again. We like the food & prices are reasonable but not worth the hassle. They seem to hire a lot of high schoolers which in itself isn’t a problem, but it is a problem when they’re not well trained and there seems to be no management on site. They lack a basic process of using a checklist to make sure all items ordered are there and correct. When we call them back sometimes they don’t even apologize. They offer you credit but it’s not about the money especially since the food isn’t expensive. It’s about lack of customer service and not valuing the customer. Incidentally we haven’t had similar problems at the Belmont location.

A great casual dining restaurant. You order at the counter, sit where you would like, and the food comes out to you. There are just a few categories of items in the menu — pizza, «messes», and entrees. We ordered 2 Nephew’s messes with eggplant and meatballs. Our«mess» came with baked ziti, but apparently it can come with whatever pasta the chef chooses in the kitchen. The pasta was well cooked, the sauce, and add-ins was tasty. Perfect amount of food so you can eat the whole(single portion) and leave a very satisfied customer. The price for single options is a reasonable $ 8. A full tray(double bucket) that serves 20 can be up to a ridiculous $ 116. Better stick to Comella’s for a night on the town rather than catering.

Friendly staff, fun environment. Haven’t had the best of luck with the food. Inconsistent with the calzones. Some days they are great, other times very bland. Sandwiches are good.

We had a decent lunch here. My girls liked their spaghetti and meatballs. I was less thrilled with my chicken parm, and even less thrilled with the wait. I am not sure we would go again but it served its purpose for the afternoon.

The food used to be better. I have been to Comellas many times. I usually order the Little Abby special(one meatball with spaghetti). Although the price has not changed, the meatball is half the size it used to be and the pasta portion is a lot smaller. It is now placed on a smaller plate trying to disguise this. The sauce is mediocre. Won’t be back.

Convenient healthy casual Concord location of local Italian food chain with quality and reasonable prices consistent with other Comella’s. Nice loft style dining area. A welcome addition to downtown Concord.

Heard about this local chain from a coworker and decided to try. I love pizza so what did I order? Pizza! Price: 1 Large Cheese Pizza is only $ 5.99! Where can you find pizza that cheap? Taste: The cheese pizza was delicious and at that price I can’t complain. It’s not a special pizza, it’s just cheese, DUH. Location: Just happens to be near my work, so it was convenient and I found a parking spot right in front of the shop! Service: I called ahead and I was told that my order would be ready by the time I arrive. The order was ready and still hot, sweet! Conclusion: If you want some cheap cheese pizza, look no further.

This is an amazing find in Concord. We each had something different. Alex had a calzone he inhaled. Paul had a meatball sandwich. He inhaled his sandwich too. I had a chicken club with avocado — to die for. I wish I could have eaten the whole thing. I also got some yummy cookies. We are on vacation so we couldn’t take the leftovers home. What a great treat.

Delicious cheese pizza for $ 5 per pie is unbelievably inexpensive. Eggplant parmesan is my absolute favorite, but this place is known for it’s «messes». You can get them by the tray or bucket. Crazy pasta, meat and seafood combinations. Street metered parking. A small amount of seating if you want to eat inside. Takeout is recommend as is calling ahead.

I have been eating at Comella’s for 3 or 4 years and have tried a couple of their other locations, away from Concord. It’s not fancy, it’s not gourmet, but without a doubt, Comella’s has the most consistent, freshest and tastiest Italian food in the area. You absolutely won’t be disappointed and you won’t go broke having lunch. They also offer their sauce, frozen and to go. There’s so much meat in their sauce, it’s a meal in itself. I’m not a huge fan of their pizza, but it will surely be the best $ 5 pizza you ever ordered.

We went here for takeout. We ordered the chicken parm with ziti, veal parm with mess, shells with mess, fried calamari, fried mozzarella and desserts. Everything tasted like it came from a package. The fried mozzarella and calamari tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. Do not get their signature dish called«the mess». It was horrible. Tasted like week old leftovers all mixed together. Worse yet, the cost was quite high. Way more than one would expect for takeout.
