Concord Cleaners

I’ve been using Priest’s for forty years. They have never lost or damaged an item. Sun (the owner) is very careful with garments. She has worked with me to be sure they are done exactly as I want. They are prompt, and they use non toxic methods. I would never change cleaners, they are terrific.

They lost my suit; took well over a month before it was returned to me. All the employee could do was look at me and say «OMG”(yes, she really spoke the acronym aloud). The employees were not apologetic, nor did they show the slightest inkling of concern for the clothing they’d lost.
I will not use Concord Cleaners again and strongly urge you to do the same.

We brought my son’s tux in for cleaning in preparation for a concert. My wife told them we needed it by Tuesday, but then called back an hour later telling them she had the day wrong, we needed it before 4 pm on Monday. «No problem!» she was told. So on Monday afternoon we went to pick it up… no jacket. It was still in Wayland being cleaned. We pointed out that the date and time was specified for a reason, and they should have refused to do it if the time want doable: instead of apologizing to her, the man my wife was talking with said, «I don’t know who told you that.» As if we care who he puts out to talk with customers.
I went in today to talk with him, and I got the same excuse along with, «I was out the day you dropped it off.» We had to get a replacement at great difficulty at the last minute, and we’ll have to get it cleaned now too — somewhere else, of course. He didn’t offer to deduct anything from the price of cleaning, and in fact didn’t even offer an apology. His attitude seemed to convey that it was my fault, not his.
Having seen the reviews on here, I reluctantly agree with him. Anybody who uses this place deserves whatever they get. I’ve learned my lesson, I see Priest Cleaners down the street is reviewed much higher, we’ll give them a try next time. Avoid this place unless you’re a masochist or you need to find a place to clean clothes for someone you dislike.

I tried them for laundering my nice button down work shirts for the first time last week. Picked up on Saturday. Pulled one out this morning to wear. Fuzz stuck to it. Inconsistent ironing, right in the front where everyone can see it.
Will never go back.

They ruined my nice silk blouse. It was faded and shrunk when I got it back from them. When I brought it in to show them, they didn’t see anything wrong. I also brought a very similar blouse from the same manufacturer to show them the contrast. The guy basically shrugged. I was upset about it. He said he’d talk to his boss and call me. I called him a few days later and he hadn’t spoken to his boss.
I called a week later and a woman answered and he wouldn’t get on the phone.
She said the boss was away and what did I want. I told her that an apology would be a good place to start. She said sometimes when a shirt is old, it can get faded. It was crisp and in very good condition when I brought it there.
I don’t know if they threw it in a washer or what. But they took absolutely no responsibility. It was one of my favorite shirts and the company doesn’t make them anymore. Bummed.
