CVS/Pharmacy

They have an automated telephone voicemail system for requesting a refill. But don’t fall for it! Use the option to «speak to a pharmacist», and get the name, because otherwise your request may get lost. It took several calls and two whole weeks to get a pharmacist to contact my doctor, even AFTER my doctor had authorized a refill, and then what I needed wasn’t in stock. Also, note that the pharmacy window closes at 6:00 PM on weekends.

CVS Concord has terrible. cistomer service, especially at the pharmacy. Donna and Mark are nice, but there is not much they can do, with their management’s total disregard for good customer service policy. Long Lines, unfilled prescriptions, Robo calls when you specifically told them you don’t want them.
Today i called to request a copy of my 2015 spend at CVS Concord. Last year I called and it was emailed to me. This year, the
Bureaucrat working in the pharmacy told me no, it was against HIPAA regulation. I explained to her that it was not against HIPAA regulations, and that I work with HIPAA on routine basis. I asked to speak with the pharmacy Manager, and was put on hold for five minutes. When they finally picked up, they told me the pharmacy manager was not there, and they would not fufill my request. The person I was speaking with was much more interested in outing the person who sent me my 2014pharmacy records, then helping me get the information that I need.
So the customer service oriented (not!) Pharma-​crat gave me two options. Use my precious time on Sunday to drive over there to get my records, or have them mailed to me. By the way CVS Concord does not provide a patient portal (as required by HIPAA), Which makes it easy for patients to get access to their information. Clearly CVS management does not read the Boston Globe. There have been several articles about this in the Globe recently, too bad nobody at CVS cares.

This CVS went above and beyond to help us secure a prescription while visiting relatives here in the area! Thanks so much for your help in avoiding a nightmare while on vacation!

I love their stuff
I get tons of stuff here: gum, makeup, cameras, shampoo, whatever.
I like that u can get inexpensive makeup here unlike sephora but cvs’s still has great quality. I also like that cvs has lots of different brands (like maybelline, clinique, NYC makeup, or trident gum, for example), whereas sephora only has one brand: the sephora brand.
I just love CVS. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
This is a great place I always find myself in.

I give these folks five stars for being well stocked, having a quick pharmacy, and staying open until 10 pm in an otherwise very dead corner of the Boston area.
