Dollar Daze Plus

As listed here on Unilocal as a jewelry supplier and party store, this store does indeed carry a large assortment of relatively inexpensive costume jewelry. They seem to be increasing their supply, so if you want to choose from a large selection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings, in paricular they have tons of earrings and many are for sale at $ 1.99.
This store also carries reading glasses and I picked up a couple of pairs for less than $ 2, cheaper than anywhere else around. As another reviewer stated, you can expect them to last a few months, but if you’re prone to breaking glasses inadvertently then this item at that price point can work to your advantage.
The other useful aspect of this store are the party supplies and inexpensive décor. Obviously, if you’re going for mid– to high-​level quality you’re in the wrong shop, but if you need a few interesting party favors or decorations for kids it’s not a bad place.
They have helium balloons, the plain rubber kind as well as the mylar kind with characters on them (Frozen, My Little Pony, Cinderella, Spongebob). My child loves this type of stuff. I also picked up a really cool decorative fan for a few bucks she’ll enjoy playing with.
Overall, good if you’re throwing a party or need to decorate on the fly. My only suggestion or critique of the store is that they organize and cleanup the merchandising to make it a little more attractive and showcase the stuff they have better.
Located near the CVS in the shopping center, if you need to pick up more budget friendly items take a look in this store. Don’t let the randomness of the displays deter you because you can find some good items at the right price.

I went here based on the reviews indicating that this is a great place for party supplies. I have to disagree. I didn’t think they had a very good selection of tableware or decorations at all and I didn’t think it was well organized. I wandered the whole store looking for these party supplies people were talking about and felt like I never really found it, although there were things here and there. Overall — and this may be harsh and is certainly ineloquently put — it kind of seemed like a dump to me and I thought it smelled weird. I didn’t ask for help or buy anything, so the service may be outstanding, I don’t know. I would consider going back for balloons; a balloon is a balloon and it is pretty convenient. But I doubt I would consider going back for anything else.

Great selection of balloons for any occasion. They even have the really big kinds of balloons for birthdays, baby showers, babies, and etc.

I have come here for all of my kids birthday party balloons. Fast and friendly service each time and I’ve never had to wait for balloons. Lot’s of parking and great selection of themed party balloons.

This is fantastic! If you want party supplies, random gifts to give to kids (as a teacher, I’m always buying prizes here!) or an assortment of weird items for that white elephant gift exchange, look no further! I love all the stuff they have here, and its remarkably organized. They also have your standard household stuff and tacky jewelry and questionable makeup and hygiene supplies… but I love love love this store.

This store has a lot of unique little items for a reasonable price. I like to go in there about once a week to see what they got. It’s really a neat little store. Check it out.

Dollar Daze Plus is situated next to staples in the Bel Air Shopping Center. It’s like a 99 cents store without the food, sodas, candies, books, furniture, electronic gizmos, kitchen and household wares. everything seems to be $ 1.25.
there’s the usual kid’s toys, ceramics, dishes, jewelry items, writing and school materials. probably some candy also…

Smaller store. Missed the $ 1.25 sign on the way in so i was confused. The store has a lot of empty space. It is arranged kinda odd. Not a huge collection of items.
Best collection of gift balloons and bags around by far!!!
On a 2^nd visit I have decided this store is misnamed. It should be called «Dollar Daze Party Store.» They are and outstanding source of party bags, cards, and balloons.

I love dollar stores! but not the realy ghetto ones where ppl buy all their groceries from and every little thing they can get from there, they will… This dollar store is different compared to those other ones… this one carries all these supplies for parties and weddings and unique things you won’t find and dollar tree or the 99cent store. This one is a little on the high end because they raised their price to $ 1.25… HAHAHA :)

Okay, I came back here with Stella C. because she was looking for a favor like item that was inexpensive and I was telling her how this dollar store was different… and they made me out to be a liar! This store isn’t as nice as it used to be. I think it is under new management. The girl who was at the cashier (I assume is the daughter of the new owners) didn’t know how to work the cashier and there was a mini family argument infront of us and when the father fixed it, he did not even apologize. It was just a weird experience all within itself.
