The facility and most of the people working there were top notch. My problem is with their billing/insurance folks requesting money that was not due. I had three different women tell me three different things. One said no deductible due, one said no deductible due if you owe more then the doctor will have them bill you and put a note on my file stating thus. third girl said no you owe 295.00 right this minute and took the note off the file and threw it away. So today I looked at my Humana Medicare claims, and also spoke to Medicare. Doctor Sara Hawes was paid in full by Humana for the bill she sent. At no point was an additional 295.00 added to the bill. I kept arguing with the insurance girls, but they would not listen. Humana Gold for Medicare does not charge nor allow any additional charges or fees for any kind of colonoscopy. So now I have to take my time, and try to get these people once again to understand and to refund my money immediately. I paid directly to Gateway, they owe me the refund...if they have an issue with a doctor charging more, then that's between them. Human has advised me to seek full refund and if any issue to contact the state insurance overseers. You know 295.00 is a lot of money to someone on Social Security, and I had to make a lot adjustments on my last two monthy budgets, you know like reduced driving (gas so high) less food etc.

Had an MRI done here years ago. I was nervous but the staff was super sweet and friendly and helped me feel calm and walked me through everything with a great bedside manner. I’ve used the pharmacy here and the ladies are all so sweet.

This review is in two parts. My wife had to have a surgery done here and they made it very clear that they were not going to touch her until my entire deductable was paid in full in which they gave me an amount. Being several thousand dollars I had to open a line of credit. My wifes surgery was in September and they called me about a month later and demanded that we owed $ 600.00 more and they needed immediate payment. As it turns out they overcharged me and actually owed me a refund. Well it is now mid January and I have yet to see a nickel of that refund. I was told that it takes a few weeks from the first time I called to at least a month the next time I called and it has been almost 4 months since the surgery. I still have not seen any money toawrds my refund and I owe other medical providers since they over charged me. They had to have their money right at that moment but when they owed us money it takes months. The surgeon who completed the surgery was not very helpful after the release which resulted in follow up trips to the ER to which we owed even more money for with full insurance. Not a very good experience and if possible I would avoid this place if at all possible.

I recently had to get my tonsils removed. The staff here is incredible, they were on time, professional, and very attentive. Right up to surgery time they were making sure I was comfortable and even making me laugh right before they put me to sleep. After I woke up from surgery, they made sure everything was ok, and gave me detailed instructions before sending me on my way. I even received a follow up phone call a couple of days later to make sure I was doing well. I really love this place, nothing better than people that enjoy their jobs to make your not so fortunate situation, a better experience. Thanks everyone! I hope I don’t have to go back but it was as good experience as it gets
