Gehringer Park Recreation Club

Absolutely love Gehringer Park Recreational Club! We have been members for the last 2 years. There is plenty of space here so it never feels too crowded. There are 4 pools available, most of the time. (The wading pool isn’t always open). Kids love to hang out at the large wooden play structure, which is equipped with swings, slide, and shade. So many nice trees that protect you from the sun, and an AWESOME swim team, the Gators! I love the families that come to this pool, there is no drama, and they also have gardens for rent adjacent to the pool. Wonderful community environment.

This community pool is horrible!!! They have gross bathrooms which they never tend to clean or renovate and they have horrible customer service as well. They should really remodel the whole entire pool. They also had this really small play structure that had 2 swings and a gross playground that was covered with mud. They should really add some showers as well, because their showers have broken down. But the good thing is that there are really good coaches and they teach really well. I have mixed feelings about this pool.

Really great community park. You have to be a member to use facility. We were invited to a party here and were able to take advantage of this gem tucked away in the Lynwood residential area.
There is a really cool wooden play structure for the wee ones with sand all around it. Plenty of picking tables under old mature trees. There is a wide open area to play a game of football or tag! You are welcome to bring your own BBQ, as our hosts did. Plenty of grass to lay out and get some sun to darken up those legs.
3 sparkling pools. One for the beginning swimmer with a 3ft depth. The 2^nd middle pool is more of a lap pool but great for playing around. No diving in that pool… lol, my daughter got yelled at. The 3^rd pool is the deepest and has a diving board. About 9ft deep. There was a junior lifeguard on duty that day. There are also community water toys for the kids to play with. The water temperature was comfortable. Not sure if it’s heated or not.
Parking is not a problem.

We have enjoyed being member of the Gehringer Park Pool for many years. Our kids have also enjoyed swimming on the swim team. I am happy with our membership here. I have never had any billing issues with them.
