Jack In the Box

Ok, so I’ve frequented this place three times in four months, and I don’t understand why a burger was missing from every single order. Is some wretched employee starving in there or something? Which I find completely ironic because it’s a fast food joint. Who knows?
Anyway, back to the point.
First visit: I ordered two meals, 7-​piece jalapeño poppers, and a jumbo jack with cheese. I get home, I check my bags, I have one complete meal, the 7-​piece jalapeño poppers, and a jumbo jack with cheese meal because the other sandwich escaped through a wormhole or something.
Second visit: Again. Two meals, 7-​piece jalapeño poppers, and a jumbo jack with cheese. I get home, I check my bags, I have one complete meal, the 7-​piece jalapeño poppers, and a jumbo jack with cheese. They missed the curly fries this time too. I’m getting tired of my burgers disappearing.
Third visit: Large Sriracha Burger with curly fries, Large Jack Spicy Chicken with curly fries, 7-​piece jalapeño poppers, two dr peppers with the meals, and a jumbo jack with cheese. I get home, I look in my bags, I find everything but the sriracha burger. Of all things. Really? The sriracha burger I was so desperately craving.
Look, I really, really, really wanted that sriracha burger. I wanted it so bad that I wanted to feel it burning as it comes out of my bowels and flushed down the drain just so I could remember how badly I was craving a sriracha burger. I would’ve wiped myself clean with a smile because the burning sensation my delicate starfish would’ve gone through would’ve been justified knowing how much I would’ve enjoyed that burger.
But nope, you had to take that away from me, along with the estimated $ 8 dollars you stole from me. See, I probably wouldn’t have cared so much if it wasn’t the sriracha burger you took. In fact, I probably would’ve been stupid enough to go back and let you steal another burger from me.
So, alas, here I am, without my sriracha burger, disappointed and still hungry.

Drive thru is killer, be prepared to write a novel in you car while you wait. More than one time my drink was watered down. I only come here for the munchie meal deal, and because it’s the only joint within the area that is open ²⁴⁄₇.

Slowest I mean slowest JITB ever! Will have one car in front of you and you could end up sitting there for ten minutes only to see person in front of you only ordered a shake?!? That really did happen. I have left twice because they just took too long.
Staff I feel bad for. Should I feel depressed for them no! They chose to work there yet every staff member there comes to the window sad, gloomy and depressed no matter what time of day in or out!!! Mean manager or something I doubt it because the food would be better. The food tastes disgusting and when I just waited ten minutes in line behind one person that just adds insult to injury. I’m thinking the people cooking the food don’t give a damn either. That scares me. You don’t want those kind of people handling your food. The restaurant inside is clean but the restaurant is so gross I’ve never seen anyone inside. Food quality went way down it used to be edible. Now I wouldn’t eat food from there for free.

I forgot the reason why I came here it just reminded me long wait in the drive through employee getting out of car that’s in drive through back and fourth then get my food and it’s cold smh!!!

I agree with others. worst jack in the box ever. was doing pretty good when they first opened but has gone down hill. about 9:25 PM waited in the drive thru behind one car for at least 5 minutes before I decided to park and walk in. was told the dinning room was closed (even though it was unlocked). I told them I was waiting in the drive thru line but no one had been taking orders. Was told to get back in the drive thru line. Slow rude service. Thank Goodness Taco Bell is right there. Will drive to Railraod location next time I want Jack in the box. Save some time and money and avoid this place.

Went here after a long day with my friend to get food. Sign on door says dining room was open until 11pm. We had show. Up at 10:37pm. Door was locked already and when the guy inside saw us coming up he walked to the back. Really? If you are going to close the doors at 10:30 then change your sign.

Great place to get a late night snack! My bf and I go here a couple times a month and it’s always been awesome! Thanks jack employees!

Sadly this location has gone down badly, poor management, great location. Terrible food and service.

I arrived late at night and decided to order from the late night munchies menu.
Ordered the stacked grilled cheese burger meal with diet coke
When I received my drink, it had no ice, and I asked the girl at the window for a drink with ice.
«Well i was gonna say. our ice machine is broken»
Well she didnt say, until i complained about no ice. Who wants to drink a fountain drink with no Ice. Yuck.
Also when this location opened, it had good quality control on the sofa fountain, now all the sodas are watered down, I suspect the syrup nozzles are restricted with buildup. Clogged. Dirty. Either that or just adjusted really badly. The sodas here are crap. Especially with no ice.
When i got home and opened my meal, (i only live a few minutes away) I found that everything was cold, my onesies fries were cold. My tacos were cold, and not that crunchy. My burger was wrapped in paper, cold, and it looked like an explosion of lettuce.
I took a bite of this lettuce, that was mostly not even on the burger. (sloppy) and it was very bitter. I had to pick the lettuce off and throw it away. Nasty.
I had a few bites of the food, enough to know it was cold and tasted bad. and decided it was not worth the risk to eat it. Threw it out in fear of becoming sick. Clearly this stuff was made way before I ordered it. and had been sitting around. Perhaps it was someone else’s order who did not take it earlier?
At any rate, This location needs some serious attention. Maybe new management, certainly a new ice machine. It’s a great location right off the freeway, but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

Worst jack in the box ever. Every time I’m here the soda never has any taste. Basically paying $ 2 for nasty water. Their machine doesn’t give enough syrup I guess.
Last time I was here, the tacos tasted gross so I opened up the shell and the meat looked old and burnt black. It was disgusting, almost threw up.
I don’t know why I keep coming back to this location. Everything is bad here, even the employees give this look like they hate you.

When I first came here, a couple years ago, the food was satisfying. Tonight, though, the service was not friendly, the soda didn’t have ice, and the food was sloppy. My husband and I pretty much threw everything out. For a cheat night, it was a real Bummer. I do not recommend the jalapeño burger. And if you want ice in your drink, check before you drive off!

Went there took so long to get our food. When we go home my husband didn’t even get bacon on his sandwich when we payed extra and to top it all off. I ordered a sourdough jack and got a burger instead. And to top it all off it had onions on it and I am allergic to them. Thank god my husband noticed because we would be in the emergency room right now. Never will we go here again!!!

I’ma call this place the Getto Box. Rude worker wit no name tag & say’s to me call corporate to get her name in the morning. Blasting the music hella loud taking to me like she was black. SMH I called the GM name Wanda in the morning. She a sured me that she will take care of it & accommodate me the next time I go up there. I don’t think I’ll go back for a while, but I wanna say this. GO WANDA !!!

Had some rude people in the drive thru most of the time taking my order. Rarely. Some nice people. But tonight did me in ! Messed up my order ! When I got home everything was all wrong ! And to top it off had to go inside cuz some whack ass integra was blocking the drive thru as to say it was out of order. SMH. Y’all need get it together for everyone else cuz that’s the last time we come here

The staff moves fairly quick but for some reason it still takes a long time to get through the drive through sometimes. One would think it was because they were busy making your order fresh on the spot, but that pipe dream is generally squashed by cold food and incorrect orders. I’ve frequented a lot of Jack in the box restaurants before and this is the only one i refuse to buy meat products other than the ranch chicken club, and even that must be ordered «well done» to be up to snuff enough to be edible. I really wish the staff would pay more attention to the orders to ensure they get them right. Or perhaps it’s the management trying to skimp on extras or push old food on people? Who knows.

Excellent service. Food arrived quickly and everything was correct. Plus the view at at sunset is crazy cool.

I see that I am not the only one who has had problems here. I live fairly close to this Jack In The Box and I have had a problem every single time I have gone here. In the most recent trip, I ordered the chicken nuggets and fries combo. I went through drive thru and once I got home and completely ate through my fries, I got to the nuggets and it turns out they were jalapeño poppers instead after I but into it and my mouth was on fire! I really do not like spicy food so of course I was pissed. So I drove back there and walk up to the front and am greeted by the women who have me my food, some high school girl who is trying to hold back a laugh and thinks it’s funny and she says, «oh I’m sorry.» And I asked to speak to a manager. The manager thankfully refunded my money and still gave me my food and a free shake too. But comping a meal doesn’t make up for horrific service and bad employees.
Trust me, I’ll NEVER come back here again.

Horrible service! I went to drive thru around 5:30am and ordered a spicy chicken combo. The lady yelled «a number 11? In the morning?» Then her and another guy talked about me as I sat in my car, «it’s morning not lunch!» After I got my food I asked for hit sauce she rolled her eyes and said «what’s hot sauce?». We don’t have «hot sauce», it’s taco sauce.“
I work customer service, and this is not okay! Attitude and being rude costs the company business, I will never eat here again and I didn’t even eat the food they gave me, because from their personal anger on what I ordered and at what time they may have done anything to my food!
It was an older African American woman 40s/​50s and a younger Caucasian or Latino guy 20s! Never again!

First, I am so happy that this is nearby, handy place and easy to get in and out of.
NO AMERICAN EXPRESS, pretty strange, most Jack-​In-​The-​Box take American express, some even take my RFID blue card.
I have always used the drive-​thru, and luckily have not had some of the problems that others have described.
I have had the soda taste a bit watered down, but besides that
Spicy Chicken is good.
Star was lost due to the lack of American Express, and the couple of times (plus another review) about the soda not ice cold and being watered down.
JBox is pretty standard food, so I’ll probably go back.

What’s up Jack? Why put up all the Balloons, Signage, and Banners; and then tell us your open at 3pm? I was getting petrol and saw that the New Restaurant appeared to be open. What if I was craving a Grilled Sourdough and some Tacos? I know you have another location right down Highway 4 in Pittsburg, but you had everything up and it was Lunch time. I guess I’ll let it slide since you are near my home and that you also have a 24 hour drive thru. The location is conveniently near Highway 4 Willow Pass exit next to Chevron. Can’t wait to get my late night Burger fix on the way home after work. Wait, I am supposed to be on a diet. Thanks again Jack!
