Java Detour is just outside Buchanan’s Air Field’s gates. Noticeable only on a driveby.

–neither smooth, bold nor harsh, taste is familiar, not sure what it was.

I waited 10 minutes and there was only one person in front of me. When I finally get up to the window, the girl came across a bit rushed and rude, then when I gave her my order and she asked if I wanted anything else and I replied no, but when she gave me my order something was missing. When I asked for it, she said «you said you didn’t want anything else» and acting like I inconvenienced her. The coffee wasn’t that great and the overall time spent there was almost 20 minutes. Don’t stop there if you are in a hurry.

This place is great if ur on the go! They are polite fast and helpful if ur indecisive. Good standard vanilla latte with the option of almond milk. Really good breakfast sandwiches and I really liked that they give u the option for turkey meat. I will be back for sure.

The barista asked me how to make my drink!!! Not just how I like it, but how to literally make the drink. The finished product was not what I wanted at all and she burned the milk which caused a bitter taste. Will not go back

I love that they are cheaper than Starbucks. The iced coffee is good but I feel that the coffee isn’t as strong as Starbucks. The employees are always friendly and quick.

I JUST discovered this place when I took a different route to work. Great coffee and friendly staff, though I will say that I haven’t seen the same person twice. Nonetheless, great coffee for a great price. I like the classic French Roast. Also, the breakfast sandwiches are pretty decent. Love the croissant with bacon eggs and cheese. Deelish!
So much cheaper than Starbucks. Love that it’s a smaller chain. And of course that’s it’s a drive thru!

I forgot my wallet at home this morning and didn’t notice till I ordered my coffee. For the lady who gave me my coffee for free though was so lenient and so sweet! literally made my day start off great :)

This place is delicious! Fantastic service and the drinks are so close to the real thing they resemble. I got a snickers mocha and my boyfriend got a butterfinger mocha and they were just like the chocolate bars! I insist if you are passing by you go to this place because it is definitely worth it!!! The ladies there made the drinks very fast and were very enthusiastic. The sizes are really big and they have happy hour also for those people who don’t have a ton of money. Perfect for candy lovers

Super cool place. Awesome long menu… First visit today and my hot Carmel machiatto was delicious!!! Very convenient being right off the main road as well as The drive thru setup. The lady and guy that were working in The hut were very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back or visiting one of the other nearby locations closer to my office.

Previously Caffino, and more recently Kafka coffee, this Coffee kiosk is the newest places to grab a quick caffeine fix on the run. The other Java Detour on Treat Blvd. has all the same drinks and also the same HH specials. If your not familiar with them, the staff are very nice and friendly. Lots of non coffee drink options and they also have Vietnamese coffee and espresso options. Lot of their Iced coffees have unique drinks like the Reese’s Peanut Butter Mocha, or Oreo cookie iced coffee. Their Happy Hour is 5−7pm too if you need a boost on the way home from work or to the Gym. They open as early as 5 am if you happen to be looking for an early Am fix. The Vietnamese Iced coffee we ordered was great and I can’t wait to try more of their diverse coffee drinks.
