Dr Von Steiff is the man! Center for Recovery is a fantastic place to get you or your loved one clean & sober.

Kind of confused as to what the previous reviewer expected from inpatient care. A 51⁄50 hold is not all sunshines and rainbows. They do what they have to do to make sure that you are safe. That means yes, people can walk into your room, because they need to know where you are at all times. And of course all adults would be placed together — should there be separate wards for each diagnosis? That’s ridiculous. Regardless, this place helped me out big time. Inpatient wards are always going to have their problems, but they have to stick to a strict protocall there. The best part of this health center for me was the Partial Hospitalization Program, which is an outpatient program that goes from 9 am — 3:30 pm. There was genuine concern for my well-being, and all of the counselors were kind and understanding — especially Danielle. I wish my visit could have been a little longer, as this was such a supportive environment, but I had to start school. I’ve learned more in the past week about myself than I expected. This has resulted in improvements in my life — I am going to stick to my boundaries and refer to the binder full of resources that I received from this program.

This place is downright AWFUL!!! Anyone who is in need of serious help or support please seek other help besides here. From the moment you first walk in you can tell that most people aren’t here for the patients. Yes the hospital/ward maybe new but don’t let that distract you from how you will be treated in here. There are two main floors: one for adults and one for adolescents! Two!!! On floor one all adults are placed together: EDOs, alcoholics, schizophrenics, bi polar and depressed people. Not a good idea as safety is usually an issue here. The rooms are small and so are the bathrooms. You are limited to privacy here but almost anybody and anyone can walk into your room and the staff won’t care. The nurses here are mean and don’t really hear you out when you have a problem. Group therapy here is a joke and individual therapy is even worse and don’t even get me started with the Psychiatrists here!!! Omg!!! The food here is awful but if you are on a certain«safety» level you are able to eat off ward and even go outside or to the gym. It is easy to J-Wall here and will happen often, especially upstairs with the teens. Avoid this place at any costs — worst two weeks of my life here. Felt safer outside of that place than in a so called«safety ward» area.
