I recently attended a two day career workshop at the LDS (Latter Day Saints) Employment Resource Center that covered subjects and exercises such as setting goals, developing effective resumes via power statements, developing the 30 second elevator pitch, networking, mock interviews plus more!
Most attendees like myself were looking for work.
It was WELL WORTH my time and participation so I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone that needs help in finding or getting work.
The instructors were very professional, friendly, experienced/​knowledgeable and helpful. I found the mock interview to be the most helpful for me!
BTW, the center sits OFF of Detroit Ave so you will not find 1031 as you are driving down Detroit Ave. almost behind COSTCO. One also is not required to be a member of Latter Day Saints to attend.
